I'm pretty sure someone out there can help out... long story short, looking for the BIOS administrative password release for a Dell Inspiron laptop.

Let me know if you're able to help out.

Thanks.

You have to open up the laptop and replace the bios chip. Buy a chip from ebay and replace it yourself or send it to a professional.

visit nearest dell service center.

they will use master password to clear that.

I'm not considering this option. It's for a family member who's only around for a few days.

Thanks, looking more so for someone who can provide it remotely.

What's the laptops serial number?

If you open the laptops case, you should see the motherboard. It should have a 3V battery on it, which keeps time, bios settings, etc.
Just take it out for 1 minute, and you should have a "default" bios.
Good luck
