Bing webmaster: how to let bing find backlinks?

Hello all,
I have been seeing higher visits from bing and it's network to one of my site. Today i visited the webmaster tool after i guess 2 years and was going through. All other things were okay but the most uncomfortable thing I noticed was about backlinks. My google search console has in fact found more than 30 backlinks and ahref shows 170+ but surprisingly bing has found none!

What I found is, the ranking factors of bing are that of Google's 2020 or older. So i believe, if bing discovers my backlinks, i stand even better chance to grab top spots on keywords i am ranking lower. But I don't know how to do that? Anyone know any way we can force bing to look for backlinks?

Bing’s backlink reporting is notoriously delayed and incomplete. There’s no way to force discovery just ensure links are crawlable indexed pages, and submit key URLs via Bing Webmaster for faster crawling.

This is normal for Bing. It rarely shows backlinks even when they’re being counted. There’s no way to force Bing to find or display them. If your Bing traffic is growing, it’s likely already using those links. Just focus on crawlability, internal linking, and solid content.

Yes. I have done all of this. My main question was even after doing this, the backlinks are null. Where as GSC has already found many.

To help Bing find your backlinks, submit your site’s URL and sitemap in Bing Webmaster, and make sure your backlinks are on indexable, public pages Bing will crawl them naturally over time
 
You can improve backlink discovery in Bing by submitting your site URL and sitemap through Bing Webmaster Tools and keeping backlinks on publicly accessible, indexable pages for gradual crawling.

bing doesn’t always detect backlinks automatically. submit sitemaps, strengthen internal links, and share content on social platforms to help bing discover them. making links crawlable is key there’s no way to force it.

Bing doesn’t crawl or report links the same way Google or Ahrefs do, so it’s normal to see big gaps in backlink data. There’s no safe way to “force” Bing to count links focus on strong internal linking, clean indexation, and earning crawlable links, and Bing will usually pick them up naturally over time.
 
That section is very unreliable.

As long as the backlink URL is indexed, it counts.

You can check this by entering the full URL into the search directly.

If it doesn't show up, you can use these search parameters:
site:domain.com "title"
site:domain.com "keyword"

bing crawls backlinks slower than google. u can submit your sitemap and use bing url submit for important pages

other than that just wait and keep links live, bing will pick them up eventually
 
Bing isn’t link-centric like Google, and its backlink reporting is notoriously limited. Instead of trying to “push” links to Bing, you’ll usually see better gains by improving page structure, internal links, and content relevance, which Bing weighs much more heavily.

There’s no way to force Bing to “fetch” links

If pages linking to you are indexed in Bing, the links are already helping

What does help Bing SEO:

Crawlable HTML links

Submitting sitemaps + URL submissions

Strong on-page signals (Bing weighs these more than Google)

If your Bing traffic is rising, your links are already being seen even if the tool pretends they don’t exist.
