Bing sitemap submission pending

Hey guys!
I am new to the world of blogging,WordPress.I submitted my sitemap to bingwebmaster but it's been a week and the status is still pending.
Can anyone help with a viable solution to this ?

Go to your Bing webmaster tool

have you uploaded the correct sitemap & how many url's you have in the sitemap. also have you tried manual submitting homepage url in the bing webmaster toolbox

Thanks.The lazy bingbot finally crawled my site

I also found a plugin on wordpress. It automatically submits your URL whenever you make new posts on your site.Though its limited to 10posts a day.
