Bing ranking vs Google ranking - the difference... ?

Hi guys,

just a dummy question. As I can see a lot of USA ppl is comming to my websites via bing ( sure google rules BUT.. ) and ranks are very different in google and in bing, to be more exact my ranks in google are better what is awesome BUT is there any special, easier way - different way how to make SEO for bing to get better ranks? And if so, would it hurt google ranks ? I'd give it a chance and hire someone from BHW only for bing ranks to see how it goes.

What are your thoughts on it guys? Does it make a sense? Is it easier to rank in bing than in google?

What about yahoo, is it the very same or? Can you recommend me anyone who's doing that kind of work from that forum? Reviews would be nice to see :-) Hope it's not against the rules to ask
 
i`ve done some testing.
the page already been ranked on G dancing from #15-10 8k MS, receiving very little traffic, jumped on bing on #2 , the difference on traffic was barely 10 - 20 %
 
80% of users prefer Google search engine. Remaining 20% is shared with Yahoo and Bing. So obviously investing time to rank higher in Google can give you best results.
 
If your not in the top 3 of google your nowhere.
 
Ranking on Bing is a lot easier than ranking on Google. I never tend to focus on any more than just Google if I am honest, if I am able to rank on Google then I know I more than likely have ranked on other's like Bing as well.
 
im top 1 on bing yahoo for a buncha sites and no luck, maybe my sites suck or the text under the domain sucks
 
Bing is an easy one to rank on but I always find that paying more attention to your ranking on Google is better and brings more results.
 
The difference is that google hold the 90% of the search and almost 70% in the US.
 
I agree with Wizard. From my experience, 90% of inbound search traffic comes from Google. Bing and Yahoo have never yielded many buying customers. I think it's a market share issue. I am sure someone makes a lot of money from Bing and Yahoo, it seems Google is a better place for us to focus.
 
Ranking on Bing is easy? I must be missing something :-) I hardly care much about Bing these days, but how do you rank on Bing? Do you use schema and GSA spam? Sure would appreciate some help :-)
 
It's easier to rank in Bing than Google (I often rank on page 1 in Bing long before I reach page 1 on Google). I wouldn't say Bing traffic means much to me though as it doesn't really convert very well. I certainly wouldn't be going out of my way to rank in Bing. Focus your efforts on Google because that's where the money is.
