Hey Guys,

I've been trying to work on setting up and optimizing a bing ppc campaign with one of the more popular "remedies" on clickbank and on here. I've googled and read every thread I could find on the subject but still feel a little lost, and maybe in over my head. I spent $40 total so far on this campaign. I know that's nothing when it comes to optimizing a PPC campaign, and I'm prepared to spend more. I've hit 78 clicks, with nearly 2,300 impressions and an average cpc of .53. That amounted to 2 order page impressions and 1 sale of the product.

My question is, anyone have any tips or are there any good guides for getting set up out there? I found one WSO that i downloaded, but it was kind of a joke, imo. I've been direct linking to text version of their sales page since you can't have auto play videos through bing.

Am I really missing out that much without a landing page to pre-sell? If so, any tips for setting that up? It would be much appreciated!

Did you create more ads to test and removing bad kw?

Yeah, I did both. I think my failure is sending clicks directly to their text sales page since you can't have video auto play with bing.

I wan't to create a landing page to pre-sell and warm them up before sending them to the vendor. Anyone have any advice, guides, tips etc? I own a few domains and hosting that will work, but don't have any experience building landing pages. The vendor does provide different articles to use for landing pages based on what type of keywords you're using that can help but im not sure to use wordpress and a theme or what.

Any help is appreciated!

you need a landing page first and foremost.

then you need an offer to give away in exchange for their email. this will allow you to sell them on the product days later if they did not already buy.

Are you tracking your keywords? Do you know what keyword converted that sale? If you're not tracking yet then stop everything and setup tracking it's the most important thing. Second being setting up a landing page or collecting emails now that you know the product can convert. If you have no idea what I mean by tracking then Google how to setup Prosper202 (it's free if you host it yourself) and how to use it.

The actual CMS you use for the landing page doesn't really matter. It's more about whether your content is relevant and helps the people who read it, so they'll be intrigued to either check out the product or opt-in to your list.

This, one thing you might want to try is instapage. I've used them before for landing pages.

Thanks for the tips, I created a landing page and got prosper202 all set up and running. Restarted my campaign, for some reason bing isn't serving my ads though. Contacted support and they saw no problems with my account, so i'm not sure. I'll update this thread with my experience running the campaign through a LP to the vendor's video sales page.

Just an update, still spending money and trying to test and refine this down. Getting lots of clicks to my landing page, have a decent click through rate to the vendors page but a really shitty conversion from there. Only made one sale this week. Not sure if i need to presell more, or if its the vendor's page.

I know the vendor posts here, and it seems like a good sales page to me so im leaning towards it being my fault. Ill keep updating if sales change after I make adjustments.

It's difficult to make sales with Bing ads. It has quality traffic, but nowadays the CPC is so high, even if you have a high quality score.

Also, I notice that sometimes I get charged twice for the same click, so it says 2 clicks and a CTR of 200%. If the CTR is 200% then the click must have been from the same person, but it counts it as 2 clicks for some reason.

Plus if you bid on Exact and Phrase only, you don't get many impressions or clicks. And if you bid on Broad, you get clicks from lots of irrelevant searches that have no interest in buying the product.

Just wondering, what amount are you bidding?

Just an update for everyone. I bounced around and wasted money on a campaign for a product that didn't convert. Went back to one I know would and have been making some sales. I'm in the process of pretty much breaking even right now while i run the campaign through prosper to see what keywords are working best. I have about 20-25% CTR on my landing page, and the vendors page converts at about 10%.

I'll update again when I drill this down to the point of actually making me some money. This is a good learning experience, and i hope to drill this down to $10(or maybe even less ) spent per sale and scale it up. I've been testing running only a couple hours a day with smaller amounts of money.

Did you check that how much people are taking an interest in the product ? You need to check website sales page , product info , and most important is your ad, what you are promising in ad and what is real on website ? Try to be honest in your ad and put the real thing in front of people.
