Bing method

Was deleting some folders and came across a method I created a while back. It's probably antiquated so things may not be working the same way now. Nonetheless, it may give ideas to newbs on how to run a campaign untraditionally which can result in positive ROI situations on some platforms. I'm not including the keywords (although you do see some within the vid) as you should be able to create your own unique sets of them. I first used this method back in '09 and briefly again last year (when the vid was made). The income potential isn't great (maybe a few hundred in profit a day if working correctly).

Elliote can you setup a verified Bing ads account and sell ?
I need to purchase a verified bing ads account

Hey good job man. If you're in a positive ROI situation it's just a matter of scaling now.

nice video, very informative.
is it good idea to start this method with my real cc?
or should i buy vcc?
sorry for being noob :p

That went.. well.

Created one campaign, ran it for $20 and stopped. Shitty CB offer, but wanted to try it out and get a feel for Bing in general.

Tried another better offer, campaign went to review.. waited, waited & waited. Support chat 4 times asking what the issue is. "We'll email you". Waited some more. 5 days go by when I get an email saying my account has been suspended, wtf.
I went into the chat support (for the 523453 time) to ask what the issue was, and they asked me to confirm my bank card details, which I did. They say "Great thank you for that, we'll email you soon bla bla bla" - And what happened? Terminated permanently and losing the $50 I put in my account + the $100 free ad coupon. They also said they don't have to give a reason, hahaha.

And I know it wasn't for the keywords, that wen't over a manual review before and the support chat person actually said it was fine.

I feel like I got robbed, lol. I'm so confused right now. And yes, it's my first Bing account, so my IP isn't banned or anything.

Wow when @Elliot305 share something this MUST be read. Thanks mate for sharing and good luck :)

Thanks man. I am considering sharing a new method that has generated about 250k this year for me but need to first ensure it won't be ruined if I did. Prob need to consult with a mod first before releasing.

is a landing page mandatory? can't i just direct to the cpa offer? I feel that creating a landing page to capture emails usually distracts from converting...

Thats what i was always thinking... someone knows if this might be true or only an assumption?

If you watched Elliot's videos in this thread, you can clearly see that he is using landing page but there is no email opt-in form. Just video with clickable link to get insurance portal quote ;)

easy enough - i did watch the video multiple times but i should stop multitasking as it takes away my attention it seems :confused:

At the end of the first video he said he was going straight to the offer for zip submits though

I'm saying about another video which he posted on 2nd or 3rd page, not in Original post
Here you go

thanks for the vid! i do understand that the saleshook here is the video that explains how the user gets scammed for auto insurance. now i dont have such experience nor do i have youtube vids. i think ill start with directly linking to the CPA offer in case its allowed by the advertiser. Just got approved by maxbounty wohoo lets get going!

Mandatory, no.

Necessary, sometimes yes.

It all comes down to the offer page and how good it is at convincing someone to buy the product or submit their details. One of the main purposes of the pre-lander is psychological, you want to plant an idea in someone's head (i.e. for insurance - you're paying too much, there are cheaper alternatives) so when they hit the offer page, they are of the mindset that they can save money or really need this product etc.

I like to grab emails for re-marketing, so I will often use a pre-lander for this purpose. The way I look at it is if you're doing PPC, 75%-85% of people will click but not convert your offer. Rather than writing off these clicks, you have the ability to re-target them with similar offers etc. The fact that someone clicks on an advert in the first place should mean they are interested in the vertical you're promoting, so it's a question of finding the offer or pre-sell to match them.

Always, always split test (direct x pre-lander) and never blindly run offers without checking the offer page yourself. I always apply the question: would I buy that product myself or submit my details? Too many people run offers blindly and then they ask why it's not converting. The answer is often simple.

great answer, it really makes sense.

Maybe a landing page with a pop-up on exit to grab the non-converting for the email retargeting?

Maybe a landing page with a pop-up on exit to grab the non-converting for the email retargeting?

If someone clicks your PPC ad, goes to your pre-lander and doesn't go to the offer, then 90% of the time they will be using the back button rather than closing the page.

If you run a pre-lander, I would always add this script:

Code:
<script type="text/javascript">
  !function(){
    var campaign_link = "http://alternativelander.com"; // REPLACE WITH YOUR LINK
    var t;
    try{
      for(t=0;10>t;++t)history.pushState({},"","#");
      onpopstate=function(t){t.state&&location.replace(campaign_link)}}
    catch(o){}
  }();
</script>

You can send people to another pre-lander (final chance/exclusive saving/you have been randomly selected etc.), directly to the offer, a different vertical, a rotator offer etc. etc. The possibilities here are literally endless and I can guarantee you that you will get conversions from using this.
