According to Hitwise, Bing is up to 30% of web searches...Matt et al better be looking over their shoulders. Is this karma for Penguin?!?

well according to my figures bing supplies me with less than 10% - and those are the figures that matter

Bing-powered queries ? made up of searches from Bing.com and Bing-powered searches on Yahoo and the websites of other notable partners ? accounted for 30.01% of searches in April, according to the Hitwise report.

Yahoo and Bing combined have always had around 30% of the market. Now Bing powers Yahoo so it stands to reason that their searches would be at the 30% range. Come on read the whole article.

This is what I call "dog food". When people just feed us news without ever thinking much of the article. Obviously it's talking about Bing and Yahoo combined.

don't worry Google is not some baby born company they know what to do, and bingahoo will not catch google even in some ages to come

Bing is attempting to market via tv shows now. For example, when a character uses web searches they "bing" it instead of Google it. I've seen it like five times now. Also, when they show a character searching a computer, and they show the computer they are showing Bing more, not Google.

So I'm assuming Bing is throwing some major advertising dollars out there.

They only 'seem' to get 30% because of their image search. Their web search only gets 10%

I don't have luck with bing..Its Just bring me 2% traffic compare to google
