Bing backlinks query

Hi

I have just seen this on Bing

Can anyone explain this for me please? As I am a bit worried.

I am really confused

All the links just goto a 'maintenance' page that then just redirects to the sites main page. So my pages aren't actually being linked to, so how comes it is showing as they are?

An example link is like this

s3.eu-west-2.amazonaws.com/accountantsnearme/1/chartered-accountants-chycoose-tr3.html

These are on sites I haven't bought any links for too!!

Is this going to harm me?

All the links from all the different domains listed do the same and all have 'accountsnearme' in the url.

I think there is nothing to worry about. Like amazonaws is content delivery site which is called cdn. I suppose there is no harm in it.

I have actually worked it out.

It's from the backlinking service I use on here.

They say it is not a risk but in their terms admit to using blackhat ways to getting links indexed prety much without any wanring before signing up.

Now if their is no risk that's fine, as you say, it isn't from spammy site.

My worry and concern right now is on Ahrefs the site shows as 4k backlinks pointing to a brand new site.

Have you looked at the page I linked to? The links are hidden somehow.

Just trying to work it out right now whether I should be concerned.

Bing is ultra sensitive on spammy links IMO. I found I have to use the disavow function on Bing otherwise my traffic tanks to zero. I haven't had to use disavow on google yet as it seems to work it out for itself.

Thanks, I have done that on Bing.

Ahrefs is showing the links, however search console are not showing the links.

But it doesn't look good a new site having 4k backlinks?

Or because they are from high DR sites, Google will just ignore and not penalisize?

If you haven't purchased any links but still see 4K backlinks, it's possible that they could be part of some automated or spammy process. Disavow those links on the Bing website.

After I did a mass disavow on bing

My bing traffic tanked to zero for about 2 months before I decided to mass disavow all the spammy links on Bing. It took about 3 weeks before my traffic got off the ground again. In contrast, I think the general advice on google is to only disavow if you have a Manual Action flag on Google Search Console. I think this is probably correct as Google is pretty good at working it out for itself in my experience. Good luck getting it sorted !

I've worked out what it is, see above reply

I have disavowed on Bing. Not that I was getting any traffic from them anyway!
