Bing...and Yahoo ?

Hi all,

...a Friend has a site that Yahoo and bing still wont find, yahoo and bing already indexed those pages but still there`s no keyword ranking on yahoo n bing.

Anyone have any idea how long it take Bing and Yahoo to rank keywords?

i'm interrested too cuz we're missing around 30% of the trafic if we're not on bing/yahoo

I have a site and i just pinged my site before 2 week and little bit social bookmarking and i m on 11 rank with my keyword on bing and yahoo....
i was not in 100 result on Google but suddenly I am on 7th spot on Google...

30 percent of traffic is now coming from Bing?

These take much longer to index content and get some rankings.

My (unfounded) thoughts are that the technology behind Bing and Yahoo are unfortunately years behind Google. Their crawlers have a much tougher time navigating the web than the G-Bots.

One step I like to take is to set up Bing and Yahoo webmaster tools - you'll find a ton of crawler errors that may not exist in Google and can help your site stay easily crawlable by Bing and Yahoo.

I'm currently ranked at #2 for Bing and Yahoo for my money site without any effort from me purposely trying to get my site indexed or whatever for them. It just comes naturally when I built links for my site.

Perhaps it is a matter of looking too much at ranking and not doing enough in building links?
