So a few months ago I found an EMD available for a 3k 'best' keyword.

Bought it and put a 3k article on it. Its just a one-pager.

Left it, forgot about it. I'm not even in the top 100 on Google for the keyword and I did zero SEO to the website.

Suddenly sales came into my Amazon dashboard and I coudn't figure out how because, well - I was nowhere on Google.

Then I did the keyword search on Bing and boom - first spot. Great, right?

Of course - Bing searches are much lower then G searches.

So last week I earned some beer money with doing nothing.

Bing + EMD = beer money ;)

Good quality stuff never goes outta style. Do some optimization for Google and you'll have a nice Christmas harvest ;)

Yeah, I use Bing. I find it brings me more "relevant" results as compared to google.

Yahoo feels dead to me however, but its marketshare says otherwise as it is still alive as well.

Congratulations on your sales though. With the 27 ordered and 19 shipped, does that mean that the remaining 8 are just waiting to be shipped or does it mean something else?

Another benefit of Bing is that Bing ads is still untapped and there's loads of room for everyone to get hold of the share :)

That is a killer conversion rate. Build on it. Bing is still alive and kicking.

Good luck,

Yeah pretty high. Don't know why though. Usually my cr is a bit lower.

Yes - it hasn't shipped yet. So my fees should be a bit higher then the $30.

Yes but I wouldn't advice to advertise your Amazon affiliate website on their ad platform. Fees on Amazon are too low to get big profits with ads.

I thought BING was dead!!!!! can you figure out the IP's of those bing users? I want to know what region are still using bing?

also, any hint into your audience age and education level and tech savviness?

Does your keyword have a lot of big shopping sites such as amazon show up? I have a keyword in mind but all of these large shopping sites + 5 sites being advertised are on page 1 for this keyword.

Also what position do you rank on bing

That's good actually, we shouldn't rely on single thing. Hence proved content is king. :)

Bing is alive. Back to power!!!!

How in the earth you could have almost 20% conversion rate in Amazon? ~$40 per item isn't much but damn.

So now we know how to put EMD to use now. If we use multiple such domains on one shared hosting, overall it may net some good amount.

EMDs, PMDs still work and are rankable ( unless of course someone neg SEOs your site ). They are just not favoured when you come to sell them, as buyers often prefer a brandable domain.

If we sell as a website that has some revenue, it will not be that hard to find the buyers.

The buyers are more limited than with a branded name, if they're wanting to scale up

If your site is EMD bestredwidgetreviews, then you're limited in terms of scaling up as you're reviewing red widgets.
If your site is BobsWidgets, then you can look at all different types and colours.

Yes EMDs and PMDs do sell and will sell.
