I have grey hat category , tech support for a genealogy software.. can i still run ads on bing ?
Do i need bing agency ads account for that ?

Idk, seems to be ok for me. It really depends on what business and who your customer is.

I don't think advertising on Microsoft Advertising (formerly Bing Ads) is particularly difficult. However, getting good results is another story. I've run a few campaigns myself, but unfortunately none of them delivered the outcomes I was hoping for.

I can't even create a Bing Ads account because it keeps getting suspended right after I set up a campaign and add my payment information.

Yea it really depends on "who is your customer" because certain people and consumers use these ads more then others

At the moment, I'd recommend going with a prepaid account. It's generally the safest and most flexible option, especially if you're just getting started or testing campaigns. You have full control over your spending, there's no unexpected billing, and it's easier to manage your budget. Once everything is running smoothly and you've established a good advertising history, you can always consider other billing options if they better suit your needs.

If it doesn't comply with Bing's policies, it's best not to run it. Review their advertising guidelines before investing further.

I am usually careful with Bing as well. Their review process can still be strict, so don't assume it's much easier than Google. styou should start with a regular account first and see how it performs before worrying about getting an agency account.

What industry do people think Bing works particularly well with? I have got zero traction in comparison to Google Ads, which has done quite well.

microsoft ad policies are still pretty strict
what typically matters most is the landing page
