Bing Ads + Amazon Affiliate Case Study

Are your Bing Ads to a Landing page or directly to Amazon?

They cannot be direct to Amazon I believe.

waiting for results before getting a big gob...

this so intrested in nice post ...

will work with a cloak but need your own host and website then a landing page for the products.

Are you using a landing page? Is Amazon ok with direct linking from a search campaign?

You may want to check the aff TOS again, don't think it changed and now allows paid traffic...

The days of 30 days cookie are long gone. But, nevertheless, best of luck. Following your progress.
The 30 day was always only for the product the user added directly and nothing else, rest has always been 24 hrs only

I'll update in the morning no sales yet.

FYI, this is completely against their TOS. In fact, only FB and Twitter are allowed to have outbound links which directly go to Amazon. ALL other links from searches, online ads, or any other social media such as Tumblr, Pinterest, etc. must link back to your site only, and absolute cannot link directly to Amazon.

In other words, all users who land on Amazon must come directly from your site. Cloaking is also strictly forbidden. When they review your site after your first three 'qualifying' sales, it is a billion-to-1 they will approve you. Thus you won't see any disbursement, even if you rack in 1000 sales.

Just read a post yesterday on a site about a guy who was banned. Reason they gave was that his direct-to-Amazon links started showing up in search results. He didn't realize posting direct links was a huge no-no and was posting his direct-to-Amazon links all over non-fb and non-twitter social media accounts.

I've always direct linked and made sales and I've had my account for 10 years with no issues.

Interesting. Their customer service online chat people must not provide good info then. Had a girl tell me only FB and Twitter were approved for allowing direct links. Probably why they provide the share links for these two on the site stripe. I'd be skeptical to try the others as I'm worried about getting banned. Please let us know how it goes. I hope it goes well for you :)

Only FB and Twitter that is not true.I was promoting amazon on Youtube for a very long time and got paid from Amazon everytime

Op I won't spend on ads for a low commission from Amazon and its very unstable ROI.I rather use free traffic.

I'm direct linking to the product with my affiliate link. When you do this on Bing Ads, it shows as Amazon.com which is nice. It doesn't show your long link.
Its not allowed actually. Amazon will catch this up and ban your account but do not worry it wont happen any time sooner.
Unless you start earning like 3 or 4 figures they wont even care.

I hope it's not allowed. Anyway would like to see results..I'm directly posting links via automation to one of my FB page with 3k followers. I'm getting minimum 75 clicks per day, but you know $0 in sales. Lol...And the worst part is it's India traffic...;)
