Hello,

I looked for an answer, but not even sure what to type to look for it..

I am trying to promote a Clickbank product. I got my key words, and a small write up.
I place my hop link, but they ask for a display URL. Do you just make one up? Prehaps but a domain name and do a redirect on it?
How do you handle that?

Thank you!

So your saying the best way to do this is with getting a Domain name then?
, I guess that is with the TOS of bing.. .:/ was looking for a cheaper method.

If you are looking for a more cheaper way, use blogspot, it is free.

The display URL of an ad has to match the domain people arrive to when they click your ad. You are saying you are using your CB link in (presumably) the destination URL. So what is the domain that shows when the ad is clicked? You must use that.

So, destination URL may be something like:

hop.clickbank.net?blahblah

which eventually takes you to somecbsite.com. The destination URL must show somecbsite.com

As long as that destination landing page complies with all Bing rules, there is no problem.

That makes sense, but do you lose clicks and cookies if someone copy's and pasts our just types in your url? Or is that just a small percentage and not worth worrying about?

I think buy new domain and write review blog put your affiliate link to inside. This is cheapest and working method. Iframe and other tactics are not lasting.
