Binary options? Good/Bad idea?

Hello BHW,

so I am thinking about starting to do binary options just to get a nice extra pocket money.

Have any of you made any experience with it?

I found iq option which seems good, but they want many personal information such as a picture of my id?!?

Would be glad if anyone could help.

I'm from Germany /Europe btw if that matters.

my advice is stay away
i made lots of money on one & they refused to pay me out
im in usa, i hear they're more legit in other countries
but if you search bhw for other threads on BO, most say don't do it.
however most do have affiliate programs that pay generously for every lead you send them.
 
Good idea if you are knowledgeable, very very bad idea if you're new and think you are knowledgeable.

I realzied that when I was looking for some sites. There are thousands of fake reviews

well ofc I would not go into this blind. I do have some knowledge already but will learn more and more

Not saying you are although many do.

I say don't go in it with little knowledge and saying, have "some" knowledge doesn't sound like you are a pro and in that case I wouldn't do it.

Not what you like to hear probably but I think the title was asking for a opinion if it is a good or bad idea and my opinion is it's a bad idea.

It's like poker, if you are a pro you can sustain a lifestyle even when you lose, if you are an amateur you might win big every once in a while but most likely end with what you start with.
 
I don't know of a single person who has made money off of options in the long run. Everyone I know seemed to hit one homerun then lost everything in the next attempt.
 
binary options very hard and alot of companies BS... look Into forex its more real deal
 
bad idea... i've traded forex for a long time. I have a triple screen setup on my desktop. Many times binary chart makes sudden spikes/drops which are NOT there on the MT4 platform of my forex (i run them next to eachother on dual-screen so i can monitor differences), they cheat the public very often. I dont trust any binary companies anymore. Saw atleast 5 of them do this then i quit it forgood..
 
Another experienced forex trader chiming in: seriously run. It's a semi-scam leaning on the scam side.

First of all, if you just look at advertisements for it, it masquerades as forex, and this works because you see a lot of people asking questions about it assuming it is a "type of forex." It is not. It would be exactly like if there was something for stocks and the objective was to flip a coin to guess if Apple stock will go up by tomorrow, and then telling you by doing that you'll be a cool rich stock trader. You wouldn't be.

It's gambling, plain an simple. Or more specifically, it's a gambling game that's made to look like forex. But it's worse than real gambling in two ways, or it's more akin to roulette. With a game like poker for example, you can actually increase your odds by practicing because it is a skill based game. And with online poker, it is regulated very heavily so that the website's code is fair and everyone gets paid.

With binary options, you're betting on a chart going up or down, that has no basis in reality. They control the movement, it's not like in real forex that the charts are live, actual prices. And they aren't regulated the way that gambling, or investing is.

Long story short, stay far far away.
 
Bad Idea. Period.

Binary Options are made to maney money from the people that have no idea. It is a very dark business.
You will make a lot more money by trying from the beginning one of the methods available on this forum, do not believe in the easy ways.
 
Binary Options are a scam and everybody who does their research will see for themselves. Stay away.
 
Don't do it. A friend tried this after seeing their scammy viideo on FB and how it is easy to make $100 daily with little investment. Well, he all his money.
It is much better to gamble than trade binary options.

Start with roulette and when you master that move up to binary.

Or spend a few years studying first.
 
really really bad idea. options are like another name for gambling only difference is you have some charts to predict. its difficult to have long run with BO. if you're a gambler you can make more money in other bets.
why not try forex trading? that's the real deal in financial markets.
