Billion dollars idea. Where to start?

No offense but did you take any step at all to fulfil it in the last 3-4 years? Start small with pure intentions and scale it from there. Good luck.

Have you launched anything in the past? I am going to take it as you are serious and give you some advice, Yours to take or leave it.

1) Put your idea onto paper and design it. If you haven't done it, its worth nothing.
2) Once designed, you should be able to tell if your idea is worth a billion dollars or even if it will work in real life.
3) Take a TLA+ tutorial on youtube, and run your design through it. Test the math. See if the math will hold true.
4) Go to crypto communities and start building relationship with people who may have the skills
5) Spend time on youtube to learn solidity and or other crypto contract language to launch your project. If you can't trust anyone, you need to build it.
6) If you have zero technical skills, then take all of the above, find a non-compete-non-disclosure agreement from the internet, use that and start finding a team
7) Once you have a team you trust, you then pitch it to the investors

With zero money and zero work done, the idea is useless as may had suggested on this post.

You've been pregnant with this idea for two years. Get the shit out and start doing the above work.

Efforts pays off.

Probably better to start with a smaller idea that can get you experience and capital to tackle your billion-dollar idea.

Before plunging into that grand scheme, it's better to acquire some market experience and insights.

Talk to people, research and learn.

You might find out your idea was actually worth a few cents.

thanks a lot. it means a lot :)
im start taking your advice seriously.

...not a clickbait.

So I have a never-seen idea on crypto space (fully transparent/decentralized). But I don't have money, a team or programming skills.
Is there any fundraising platform where I can raise some money BUT without expose my idea (i'm affraid someone else will start/launch before me).

So, where to start from? What should I do?
It's been already 3/4 years since I'm thinking of this.

Everyone thinks they have a billion dollar idea.

If you have no money or team then that implies you have no business experience, which makes it highly unlikely you have the ability to see if something is a billion dollar idea.

But, and here's the important bit.

There's not a shortage of billion dollar ideas. A billion dollars isn't much.

Jasper is valued at $1.5 billion and it's just a frontend to GPT3.

You know why it's a $1.5 billion company? Not because of the idea. Because of the execution. The marketing, the product, the way its presented, their value proposition, their team.

You could have at the very least in those 3-4 years learned to be a decent developer and produced a working concept for your idea, but what have you done? Nothing. You haven't learned to code and you haven't earned money to bootstrap it.

If you can't achieve anything in 3-4 years, what makes you think you have the capability to bootstrap an idea to a unicorn?

The sort of person that can do that, wouldn't be on here asking how to start and what they should do. They'd already have a company and a viable product.

I have the idea. That's the important part for me. As for any other things like marketing, support, developers and others, there are others way better than me.

Why I haven't started yet? I don't know!
(i am so afraid to tell others - even with an NDA contract and so on)

I bet you also had a million/billion idea on some point, like anyone else. ARE YOU a millionaire/billionaire? Have you started (at least) working on? We all have our reasons.

Not only I am sure that's a billion idea, I am very convinced.
Would be something that ANY cryptocurrency platform/token will LOVE to join in.

JUST A HINT:
Let's say you have BHW token/coin, and wants to give your community a chance to earn more tokens. Then you integrate your platform with my platform for a fee (let's say 0.1% on all "trades" made on my platform).

Today was a todal of 100.000 BHW in trades. Cool, my fee is 100 BHW.

Now let's think I'll have 100-200 tokens on my platform and I'll get 0.1% on fees from each, based on all "trades" made. 10.000 SOL in trades today? Cool, I'll get 10 SOL. Another 1.000 EGLD in trades? Great, my fee is 1 EGLD.

EVERY DAY, week, month and year.

Even more: you won't lose any of your BHW token, but could take a fee too (for every "trade" on my platform), so it's a win-win situation. I win, you win, your community wins.

Being something WOW and Unique I'd not pay so much attention on marketing, as the idea will go viral as hell, as anyone would love to "try".

Then you have no use. Sorry to be blunt. It's the dream to just have an idea and become a billionaire from that. The reality is you need outstanding execution, which means you need to be marketing, support, management, leadership(Different than management), operations, sales, tech/dev.

The others way better than you have their own ideas, and they are executing and profiting. That's the problem.

I bet you also had a million/billion idea on some point, like anyone else.

Yes, I did.

ARE YOU a millionaire/billionaire?

Yes, I am.

Have you started (at least) working on? We all have our reasons.

I've done more than start. I built my idea into a 7 figure business, and I am working on the 8 figure one.

Why I haven't started yet? I don't know!

Total waste of time to be afraid like that. If you spend the next 50 years being afraid, you are 100% guaranteed that it won't go anywhere. So really, what's to be afraid of? The path you are on, you are guaranteeing failure.

But the thing is.. Venture capitalists and angel investors get presented with 1000's of ideas. They aren't short on them. They don't NEED them. What they need is an executor.

If I had $10 million to invest in a business why would I want someone with an idea? They are almost guaranteed to burn my money and get nowhere. A guy with an idea that is self-admittedly got no other skills is never someone I'd give money to. I would give it to someone who can execute on that idea and bring it to fruition. Do you think an investor's job is to give you money then run the business?

Everyone thinks they have a big idea. Literally everyone. It's so common. Ideas are *nothing*. Execution is everything.

What you don't understand is just how small a part of a successful business an idea is. It's so small that it's almost insignificant. I have 100's of ideas. All of them would make at least 7 figures. Several 8 figures, and some 9 figures. But I wouldn't even attempt the 9 figure ones just now because I don't have the ability to execute on an idea and turn it into a 9 figure business at this point. But, you, with no experience, no business skills think that you even know what a TEN figure idea is? It's crazy. You need to start with a 6 figure idea and make it happen.

That doesn't sound like a 10 figure idea.. And the notion that you don't need marketing is crazy. That shows gross inexperience.

One of the problems with that is you're getting paid in crypto coins, and most crypto coins are going to go to zero over the next several years. You'd need to sell most of the coins as you earn them.

It sounds like some sort of crypto version of swagbucks.

You're not going to get a 10 figure idea with some sort of mass crypto idea that relies on a ton of shit-coins being created and pushed to members to earn. The problem with that is all those shitcoins have absolutely no value.

I would just take your idea to an investor. To be honest it doesn't even sound that profitable/interesting, so I wouldn't worry about someone stealing it.

any crypto project on blockchain is transparen, you just don't know where to look
1 billion dollars idea is just myth. excep you have the capability, skill, funding ,and timing to do it(luck).
see Etherium do you think vittalik is the only one working on smart conntract system at that time?
also bch bcg and a lot other token that basicly just modify free code in github and put capital on community and branding.

Harsh but logical I think.

thank you for your "motivation"

why do I have to be any of these, as long as I hire/jv people/companies for this?
in fact, do I have to know everything in order to succeed?

What I "expose" here is actually 1% of the entire idea. Did I mentioned about STOCKS? Oh, sorry, my bad.

How will be sound if Elon Musk will find the idea/platform interesting and post something aboutit? How about if TESLA STOCK will join on my platform? Perhaps Amazon, JP Morgan?
(in fact, I don't even need their permission to "trade" their stocks, as Binance or eToro do.

Is not targeted to crypto or shitcoins only.

Did I mentioned there will also be his own cryptocurrency/stock and blockchain?

You should act.
You can't just think for 4 years and have tried at least one time your idea.
So my advise for you would be very simple, just do something and see how it will go.
I had an idea years ago and I tried just for the feeling of being able to get my idea ahead.
In the beginning it was difficukt because I didn't have exp on what I was doing, but as time went by I learned a lot and now I am very happy that I took that step in my life.

So go for it. What are you waiting for?

If you think having an idea, with no other skills or experience is going to work for you, that you can just get some magic investor who'll do all the work for you, then please be my guest.

Also, what makes you think you can create a crypto coin and a stock no less for Tesla, Amazon and JP Morgan without their permission? You couldn't possibly do that..

OK so I need your venture capital guys for something I have no clue how to implement. Also fackk you if you thinking i'm telling you what you'll be investing in.

Yes, try to build yourself a small basic version, patent it or copyright it, then as it generates money, expand on it. Don't put the cart before the horse.

You idea ain't worth much right now. Share it with your investors and get the money. You have to give something to get something.

Create a business plan. Make it as good as possible. Buy some courses, watch youtube videos, read books about how to make a perfect business plan. If you don't have it, you can't get investors. If you want to launch a company, find a mentor, or business pal with experience. The recipe is simple - gain knowledge + take action. You have procrastinated for years, guess what, life is short. Start TODAY!

It's very easy to have a billion dollar idea. Here's a trillion dollar idea:

Sugar that has all the properties of vegetables and is 100% good for you.
