    Hey,

    I'm not located in US.
Probably I'm going to have a US based client.

    How should I bill him?
Should I send a contract via DHL?

How do you deal with that?

    Thanks for advice.
    Cheers!

Depends on the amount you are dealing with. If its less than $1000, I would surely use Paypal. Or else, WU, or Moneybookers or even bank wire.

Sure they have to sign a contract. Send it by mail or post and ask them to send it back (by mail or post).

It would take ages to send it back to Europe. Is there any other option you use?

Depends on the nature of the job. Try to secure yourself differently. What are you going to do if he violates the contract anyway? Sue him across the Ocean? :p

    a) Use an escrow service
    b) Deliver via milestones
    c) Show him a demo on your site first or via video (if it 's programming) and release it after you get paid

I'm gonna do SEO for him.

I guess he will pay me with PP/bank wire but the problem is that 14 days to deliver signed contract and 14 days to get back documents is a long time.

That's why I need a solution and advice here :) How people from Europe deal with that.
