I'm not sure how this can be addressed from a dev perspective

but heres an example:

say there is a link buying package offer on a thread, with 75 pages. often times ppl will post "bought the package, will post ranking results soon!" and for me, thats what i want to read before i buy, and its awfully hard to find their followup comment when there are 75 pages to sift through. I suppose i can msg them, but thought id share this feedback. would be cool if there was a way to filter within a thread to see a specific member's comments, this way i can quickly isolate his comments

You could do this by searching for posts made by that user in the search function at the top, and select the option "Search this thread only" - this would show you all of the comments they've made on that thread.

Otherwise, you can always just look through their profile and look at all of the messages they've posted.
