Big idea with Machine Learning

I have an interesting idea to create really forward-looking business regarding machine learning. Project is not really hard in my opinion and requires to create some correlation between data, yes; I'm not talking about atomic physics but simple harvesting data then performing and finally throw some variables what makes the best items so special.
Im former amateur programmer so i know something about programming but im now too old to learning new topic.
