Why couldn't you create a sectioned flyer, with several offers on it, and sell space to businesses... then insert it into 100,000 or so newspapers, at a time? You could make a profit from the businesses advertising with you AND have your ad on the flyer... Or maybe even the whole back side of it..

I love the way I think.. like so many other assholes, just got to get some money behind it..

What you've got there is a whole advertising paper in it's own right... The newspapers that are carrying it might object as you start to compete with their own advertising. Might be better off going straight to the newspaper distributor and paying him to include the leaflets with the papers that go out to the paperboys. Nice idea though, must be worth a try.

I hope you're in the UK or all that lingo will mean nothing...

That's true, newspapers, especially in recent times, do not like competition.

Where I live, there is a service called Zippys which hand delivers print material to doors. They collect a bunch of stuff from different businesses, put it into one container and deliver to doorsteps. Something like this could be another alternative.

You're probably over thinking this a bit if you're in the U.S. There are quite a few classified color papers out there. These are run by printers who are looking to bring in more business for themselves. You make the sales, send them to the ads, they create the classified paper, send you the paper and you distribute it to local convenience stores.
