big G question

my whitehat site is on page 1 of google for one of my keywords, and i made #10 in the 10box on a different one by putting it on google maps. I dont even show up on google page rank and my alexa ranking is about 4 million haha. how the hell is it on page one of g00gle then?

well if you did not do enough link building and seo, then it is short lived and will drop back. I have been there before, newer site, work for a day or 2 building minor links then check rank and I am number 5 lol. I am all happy and cheering. Then 3 days later its gone and I am number 2000 again hehe.

the site is actually months old.. i read about google maps on here so i added it.. its a major financial keyword.. id love to stay there.. just not seo savvy at all..
