It could simply be because it is the start of the weekend. Sounds simple, but sometimes the simplest explanation is the solution. What about on Saturdays and Sundays? I bet they drop, don't they?
Usually on fridays there's a boost in views even if you don't upload but almost all channels im looking lost views. Another example:
Of course there's some that uploaded and mitigated the loss somehow but it seems evident. Wtf is going on?
