Hiya, i am just getting started on big cartel, my knowledge of html is slightly intermediate, so theres still LOTS i need to learn, but i am aware of the basics. so anyway, i am trying to copy a few shop designs i have seen by saving page source, then opening and editing in Dreamweaver.. i only want the layouts, obviously my own words, content and pics will be my own, however i am just unsure where to post the code on B.C when editing.. i have the diamond package so i can edit the html and css etc, but i would very much appreciate some help if anybody has an idea of where i should be pasting the code in order for this to work.. it seems as though whenever i add the custom coding from dreamweaver, it throws up a problem about {{ head content }} must be inside <head> tag or something like this? i would be happy to pay somebody if they could assist me, i just refuse to pay $80-120 for these extremely basic BC templates some sites are offering.

    thanks
    Tony

Honestly, I'd spend the money to invest in a good designer, custom designs and attractive designs have much higher conversions and sales.

i literally have £20 budget, stuff isn't selling well at all, so i'm resorting to trying to 'borrow' other designs and changing them myself. bad bad times eh?
