Littlethings is shutting down due to the last newsfeed algorithm change :(
What about your traffic?

cant blame it on facebook- amazing they were taking $25mill in 2015 and now theyre gone

This is the problem when you rely on another party for traffic. It can happen to anyone.

sad news for them, and sure not for facebook...

Hope this opens Mark's eyes on how trashy fb has become

I totally agree. As a digital marketer, you should always have a backup strategy and not focus on one that may look sturdy now, but has the tendency to suddenly change.

However, I see that Facebook is trying to redeem itself for the past four days. I just hope that these changes would continue to benefit everyone in the community and not just Mark Z.

If they were flourishing as they say and doing so well then they should have just switched to paid advertising which is what the aim of the Facebook changes were.
Either they wasn't doing as well as they make out or as an organisation couldn't change to their environment, not Facebooks fault.

Certainly not Facebook's fault. Building a business with employees, offices and debt, and relying on another company's traffic (or algorithm) is a pretty bad idea. But it's not like we have many choices anyways, with FB and Google being the oligopoly of our time.

Damn, sad to hear that. I was one of the first paid publishers on LittleThings. I joined them with my Twitter profiles after MyLikes went to sh_t in late 2014. I was paid around 10.00 $/1000 clicks on their articles. They took a big loan back in 2015 from VC. In 2016 decided to focus primary on Facebook traffic (can't blame them, Twitter traffic is awful nowadays).

Ive had 2 emails today from 2 big pages saying they having problems with reach and (copyright content march 1st policy)

Also another email yesterday confirming bad reach on thier page.

Thats 5.2 million likes
