BHW Site Worth?

I was just wondering, with BHW being in top 500 sites in the world right now, and if Damien decided to say "screw it" and sell the site, what do you think the real number he can ask for? I don't think the site would just for anybody to buy, due to it being tied with "Black Hats" ...unless they were literally just selling black...hats...but for people who know the value of having a top 500 site...how much do you think they are willing to pay. I think part of the value comes down to how many sites are being created on daily basis, especially with new domains going public soon. Please note, I am interested in serious answers because of truly understanding of how much website ranking is worth. Thanks and happy 2014.
P.S: I am not talking about the community as well, but just domain.

When you sell or buy a community you are buying the communities activity with it. No way around that.

I understand that, but like I said if they were just interested in buying the domain, because it is a top 500 domain, and they would scrap the forums and make it a news site for example, or a dog sitting service (who knows), how much would be a reasonable price for such domain like that. Because I know people who own sites that are ranked in 5,000,000s I know people who have sites in 500,000s, 100,000s etc, and those people get massive traffic associated with them, so owning a top 500 site...must come with a price tag...but what does the price tag say?

funny you say that, but i quickly googled one of those website worth places and thats what it gave me...100 mil roughly...so i want to know how close that is to real deal... http://www.worthofweb.com/website-value/blackhatworld.com

The domain itself does not have any value. It is the site that has real value. If someone wanted to buy the site just for the domain or for the whole forum, the price will remain the same. Since this is a forum that has an active community and has long term potential, i will the price will be between 25-40 times the monthly income.

Hmmm I don't agree with you there I think domain has value. so you are saying that http://www.apple.com is not worth anything, just because of the history/popularity associated with it? Also, you are running a bush regarding your thoughts on value of the site. Still looking for thoughts.

How exactly do you think BHW became a top 500 domain? Did the domain make it to the top 500 on its own or was it the website that is tied to the domain. If you only just stop to listen to yourself for 1 second you will realize how silly your disagreement is.
 
I remember a rumor that it was sold to the current owner for $800,000. No facts there, just what I remember someone saying.
 
Somewhere around the $1.5 million mark.

I'm guessing, but it would be the revenue it produces per year x 3 to 5

I'm not saying that the domain does have any value. What I'm saying is that the domain is that like above if someone want tho buy bhw just for the domain, the price will depend on the profit that the site is making. How the buyer will use the site is not important. Whether they want to create a news site on the domain or keep the forum as it is.
 
BTW, BHW is a UK limited liability registered company (dotcom consultancy ltd according to my paypal Jnr VIP payment...)

You can research how much they have made by UK law very easily online, if you are that bothered.
 
I think it is around $200 - $900 max.

Diamond Damien was asking me if I am interested in buying BHW, but i refused.

Are you crazy or just don't know the value of sites? The value of a site is based mostly on its earnings and if BHW earns $20,000 per month (More then likely more) from Banner Ads, BST Listing Fees and Membership upgrades, that would put BHW at a value of around $1,500,000 to $2,000,000.
