BHW should stop new registrations.

Every post I've reported has been removed pretty quickly.

Not to be dramatic, but if BHW blocks new user registrations (thankfully they never would) I'd probably have to find some other place to dick around. Fresh blood is very important, even if they aren't very helpful.

I'm not really interested in swimming in stagnated waters.

OP, we completely understand you have good intentions with this suggestion.

Other forums are either acting ridiculous by charging fees now, or failing and shutting down, and then people venture here, bringing with them the culture from those forums, which are cultures that doesn't mesh with what's developed here.

I love seeing ladies' boobs and butt pics, but(with no judgement or finger pointing, my hands are busy) I don't think BHW is the place for that. To ban that would be a bit of overkill, and if you notice, even with the freedom to post quasi-porn, the super-vast majority haven't like on w*****fire, which attracts poor quality members and turns the place into a bit of a joke.

I always thought BHW was freedom. You are free to act however you'd like, but are you sure you want to act however you'd like?

I've said this a lot in the past: Something I love about BHW is the member self-moderation, and because of the new population from other forums, there has been less of that. If you've been here a while, you know to bite your tongue/fingers when you know you're about to make a bad post, and others will do the same(and if they don't, you've at least reduced the damage you could have done to the community, which is an unsung and private win).

Black Hat World is a commercial operation. Diamond Damien
bought this forum as a business investment. And as stated
above, we often have new members who join and quickly
prove themselves to be a valuable asset to our community.

The people who join and have "ulterior motives" are quickly
discovered and removed, once we find that their true
intentions of joining BHW were not honorable.

Add New Moderators and Restrict New Members for 10 Replies before posting And we will be Fine
Charging Newbies is a Big No This is not DP or WF

Mods know how to handle things.
I don't agree with this.
You were new before too.

Charge for sign-ups? And look like WF or DP? No thank you.
There are spammers signing up of course but don't forget there are nice people who depend on a forum like this to make ends meet. Not everyone became a big contributor on day 1 you know. Mods and admins one day too looked like newbies but now they earn bucks because BHW has free sign-up system. It's not nice to deny someone a privelege just because you already got to experience it. Staff already do a great job of keeping spammers at bay and I think BHW should remain like it is forever.

Just my 2 cents
RW.

Couldnt say it any better.

Restricting by posts means people will just make 10 garbage posts or replies to get what they are looking for. I am on a lot of different types of forums and this is one of the best moderated. Possible to limit new posts to so many per day based on the age of the account or something like that. I am on a finance forum that limits to 10 posts per day if you didn't donate even $1. Works for them. But I still think BHW is fine as is.
