no i have not posted any project with the same requirement. nor i am so dare to put my hand in this type of project without knowing how to get such type of link. but yes i have posted there to learn from all of your experience.
Sorry I wasn't clear. I didn't mean you, I meant the guy who started the other thread.
Really, unless you own or have access to an extensive network of old, high PR websites, getting these kinds of links will take so much time and effort it's hardly worth taking the job unless you know for a fact it will lead to additional work that is less stupid and time consuming.
Personally I'd rather have 10 clients that take me 15 minutes a day to please and pay ok than one client that takes hours to make happy and pays well.
That said, I have taken on projects where I will accept a loss for phase 1 of a project because I know future phases will make me a lot of money or have some other benefit. For example, I'm currently developing a training series for a membership site. My hourly rate for this series comes out to about $3/hour with is not even remotely worth it for me. However, when it's done it will be listed on this membership site and I will be recommended as the SEO provider of choice to over 400 members who are on the site because they're looking for the type of service I provide. So, the long-term benefits of this work are potentially huge.
Just keep that in mind when you're looking at taking on a demanding client.
