I have been on this forum for quite some time now, and I have NEVER conducted a successful search, in which I actually find the information I need. I always get something completely irrelevant, for pages upon pages.

I wanted to find an old thread which was about the best place to live as a marketer, but the thread was nowhere to be found, even with completely relevant keywords!

    Anyone else?

True that. Simply assigning the search input box on the forum to:

    Code:
    site:blackhatworld.com <your search here>

on google instead of relying on the poor inbuilt vbulletin sql queries would quickly fix the problem. Manually it's the only way you can find something around here... :D

It's not like a search on a forum will give you the quality results a Search Engine.

I've never really had too much of a problem with the search on this site uniquely.

It helps to use quotes and the actual search page, not the bar on the top left (though that works for me too).

Just wish it handled 3 letter words better

Go the relevant forum first, then use the Search This Forum feature and it seems to work fine.

I actually just used the advanced search function and put "Title Only" instead of "Entire Thread"
