bhw safe contract service

Why does not BHW have some sort of contract service?
What I am trying to say is sometimes it is not safe to make deals online. So many large communities forums offer some sort of a middle-man service where they help two sides to make a deal safely. Like pass accounts and so on.
Is it due to the complexity of such a service?
As I remember most of such services end up scamming people at some point:)

Jokes aside, The only details I am aware of is.
Marketplace V2 is going to be a huge huge huge huge improvement compared to the current marketplace.
It will address alot if not all of the concerns @Zwielicht has been hearing around

Don't quote me on it though, we are all in the same boat in terms of how much we know :)

Don't you think your more at risk if you have a false sense of security?
If anything, BHW proves everything can be breached/faked.
So, by that standard, so can a "secure" service.
So, sensibly, in this case less security is more security because one is incentivized to look out for oneself' safety.
 
I think you'll need to do your due diligence before you buy anything. There are extensive marketplace checks as well done to make sure services are legit. Don't buy from non VIP sellers since they literally have nothing to lose.
 
If that's going to happen then mods should be in the middle to check for example the items sellers provide before they get into the buyers hands. Because trust me there is more buyers that scam than sellers do.
 
it is not only about contracts on bhw. Also sometimes there are sellers on bhw who have premium seller status but the account is new and if the value of a deal is above 1k $ its still risky

Your opinion is very good It is better to lose your commission than to be cheated
 
Yes if Mods interefere in this type of deals (accounts selling) , it will be good for both side.
 
Basically what OP means (as per what I decipher), is having a escrow service. In my opinion BHW already has enough of "nuts and bolts" in place in order for people not to get scammed. Due to the nature of products and services overall in internet marketing, as escrow service would not be of much help. In my opinion BHW marketplace is quite good the way it is at the moment (though I am aware of V2).
