I see postive one only but for all members neutral and negatives are all 0. Are they displayed for no use?
+11,945 / 0 / -0
where +11,945 are thumb ups/likes/thanks

Not many users bother to leave a negative ratings

Yea, it can be a bit confusing even. Those two metrics are displayed for no use as you said, but why call that metric ratings at all on the profile page? It's not the itrader or trading feedback or whatever it's called now. At this present stage it shows the amount of thanks/likes only, which leads to everyone having 100% total feedback score according to that page, which has nothing to do with the trading stats. WTF

The old "Thanks" button is a thumbs up now. The belonging metric is called "Likes received" on this page and "Positive ratings received" on the profile page.

It's not the only inconsistency. Posts are called "Messages", "Postings" and "posts" depending on which page you're on. They're called "Messages" on this page, they're called "Postings" on the profile page and they're still getting referred to as "posts" in the Jr. VIP requirements for instance.

When renaming existing terms or introducing new ones, do it with consistency, otherwise things can get confusing, not for us mainly, who are here since an eternity, but mostly for new members.

Apparently very few members care about this.

I'm definitely trying to get my rating up so any kind of suggestions on what could be done right in order to get it up would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, I was wondering this too. This post explains it clearly.

Post information that is helpful, interesting, useful to other members and they might click the button to increase your 'likes' count.

In reply to the OP, creating a thumbs down type function would see idiots trolling, by giving negative likes to members they have problems with, or don't like etc.

I'll close this thread
