What's wrong with the Current Theme ? Great One!
BHW will never change, if in case of any plan - Don't change BHW, There are 1,23,4450+ people vote for current theme

Yeah, when I was really active on BHW, I'm not really sure why but the background or the text combo hurt my eyes too in both tablet and PC form.
Not saying BHW should change, because this is you know, a theme that fits the forum.
But I guess it's just some people have visual challenges with the theme, which is fine. I'm pretty sure there are equally other people who can't watch anime because of all the rainbows that hurt their eyes whereas it doesn't hurt mine XD

Besides a new theme maybe add a guide section and let people sell guides strictly.
Better yet "me, myself and I" can offer a guide that would help some people finding better leads for a certain niche, but would price it high because I use it and it's not a simple Facebook ads group.
I also would like to have a guide section personally. I want the golden perfect guide on how to generate high quality web design leads. I don't want to find simple $300 jobs or $600. I want to be able to charge $1,000+ I want to target firms and big business. As we speak I do low jobs locally and yes I cold call companies and getting passed the help desk person Me: "Hey is your manager there" Front Desk: "May I ask why you are calling?" ... I make up so much crap after this. Do whatever it takes to get to the manger/operator/owner of the company. Offer them that crazy "See the new site design before you buy" option which helps if they don't hang up.

The forum was actually updated over a year ago when we migrated to Xenforo from vBulletin. The developers wanted to keep the old feel of the forum that everyone was used to while giving it a more "modern" look (the old theme looked a bit flat while this one has more of 3D feel to it with the gradients).
As far as I'm concerned, there are no plans to update the theme again in the near future.

The fact that you spent probably 10+ minutes making this let's me rest assured at night knowing that BHW is under good management.
