BHW Mods... Please Create an Email Marketing Section (member input needed) -- **READ ME**

*** This is my attempt to get an Email Marketing section added back to BHW. Members who would like to see it should also comment in this thread. DO NOT let this tread die! ***

Diamond Damien, Owners and Moderators;

I realize that there were reasons why the old Email Marketing section had to go. For too long, anything went and very few restrictions kept us from posting as we desired. I think we have all learned from this and I ask that you PLEASE create a new Email Marketing section (even if it is a trial). Let us know what the rules are and let us help you moderate it by reporting treads that we know are against the ToS.

Email marketing discusses are taking place and we are all aware of it. The problem is that they are not posted in a central location and this junks up the forums.

When I first joined BHW, I knew nothing about email marketing. Now, it is how I make a living for my wife and I. I do not spam but I do use the techniques as discussed on here to make my messages stand out to my contact list. In return for all I have learned, I like to share my knowledge with others and would like to have a central place to discuss Email Marketing. I'm not interested in AdWords, SEO, ClickBank, etc - I just want to stay in the Email Marketing section and network with others so that we can help one another.

I look forward to your input and hope that you will take this request serious. As I said, set the rules, let us know its a trail, and lets see how it goes.

PS - I realize that there are other sites available, but BHW has become the community where I want to spend my time online.

You talking about the normal section of BHW? Because it's already there in the vip sec as you should already know
 
The fact you posted this in "black hat SEO" doesn't fill me with confidence that you've learned about posting the right things in the right forum.

There is already an email marketing section, just not available to the public. I can't see this changing any time soon.

I have to agree with this, because when I seen the thread on the main paged and clicked on it, I thought it would be in the suggestions and feedback section. Then I noticed it is in blackhat seo..... And also, as others said, it is already in jr. vip
 
Wow. When was the section added back and is it only available to Jr VIP? I'm on here every day and haven't seen it. Can not it be set to show on the left side of the page?

As far as posting int he wrong sections, goodness, its like like I ran out and hit an old lady. Mistakes happen and had I realized there was a suggestions thread, I would have posted there since it would be more visible. I highly doubt that posting something in the wrong thread makes someone less confident.

Either way, the section is here but I guess people have to be a Jr VIP to get it.

Now, back to the page to see what other threads I didn't know about.

Please don't take offense by my post, I was just agreeing to something I read. I don't judge you, it is not my place, but I am glad you got the answer you were looking for :)

I am already a Jr VIP member so I can see it. I guess the other option is to help promote Jr VIP membership.

Since mods "may" be reading this, if you want more Jr VIP memberships, maybe we should have an Affiliate program. I'd promote it in my signature. Might as well do something that helps us all.

As for the negative comments above, I can take it. Knowing that they section is back is worth it. Not sure how it took me a month to find out, but I'm glad I did even if it meant posting an unneeded comment in the wrong section (on accident).

Email Marketing section... here comes I!

Now that, my friend I think is a good idea (unless it too is already here) but I haven't seen it anywhere. :)
 
The problem with the email marketing section now is that because it's Jr VIP only, it gets very low traffic so it's very quiet in there.

That could also be a good thing though. Very low traffic also means better quality posts :D
 
It would be great to have the email section back. I am sure there is plenty of valuable information that non Jr.VIPs would share there and all it takes are some clear rules laid out to ensure it runs properly. I mean what is a IM forum doing without a open email marketing forum for everyone? :) It's the rules and how it's managed that will determine the type of threads that appear there.
 
I thought talking about what is or isn't in jrvip is bannable.

If you are going to take the time to post and then edit your post, at least edit it so that it has value.

Did you not see that it was a moderator that mentioned that it was available or did you just want to jump in and add your useless comment?

If the mods want to remove it, they can. The section is available and that's what I care about.
 
Not everyone is making enough money to purchase the Jr.VIP subscription. It would be great if more people would be able to participate in Email marketing discussions.
I second the OP in his {suggestion|request|appeal}.
 
The new email section is not what the old one was. We have many restrictions placed on what we can and cannot talk about. BHW is being held hostage by Spamhaus, a private entity. Even though spam is entirely legal, and something that honestly the current generation has learned to live with, somehow they still have managed to get BHW by the balls.

So if you are looking for ways to make money email marketing, the forum in Jr VIP is not going to get you what you want. However, this should not discourage you from becoming a Jr VIP. Still very many reasons to so do.
