BHW Meet-up section

I thought it'd be nice to have a meet-up section for BHW.

People could open up a thread with the title being the city they are looking to arrange a meet-up in and anyone interested, could just reply or show up.

Would be a great way to bring the community closer and meet a ton of new, interesting people, in person.

Especially useful, if you're traveling

Any thoughts?

I mean, someone could register a new account, post in there and maybe at the time of showdown there are 10 big black guys pointing a gun at the guys lol Maybe im paranoid, but trying to think about stuff.

I didn't think anyone would be stupid enough to do something like that, but you know what... you might be right. There are some idiots out there that would gladly meet up with a newly registered person.

If you meet with someone, make sure they're verified/vetted/active contributors on the forums, keep alert for scams, and meet in public places (coffee shops, etc). Should be fine.

Well this has been on-topic..

I really don't think anyone getting robbed is a problem with a section like this.

The same thing could happen anywhere, why meet up someone here in a public place to rob them, while you could just do it anyway?

How often do you guys get robbed?..

I think this is overly paranoid.

Also, lounge threads would simply get buried by trolls.

If there was a dedicated one, it'd encourage people to do more
