BHW Magic threads

Is there any reason why the front page of BHW is filled with those magic and healing threads everyday without fail during the early hours of the morning? Seems to always happen like clockwork. Wondering how this is profitable or if they are attempting some quick ranking tactic hoping one thread will stick and not get removed.

I believe its just a random person that uses a program to create accounts and spam threads all over the place. He is not just doing that on BHW but other forums as well with similar tactics.
I don't think it is profitiable at all because the texts are so confusing to read and look very spammy. Have you clicked the threads? Most of the time there is just trash written in there like "Zzzzzzzzzz" or some other bs. Everyone that actually calls this guy is a fool, unless you wanna prank him.

Someone's blasting the forum using XRumer when the mods are asleep. I believe he's/she's doing the same for a lot of forums without bothering to check whether his/her posts are sticking or not.

"Mods are asleep, spam the shit out of BHW" (Any Redditor here?)

Sees the thread - reports the threads - ignores the users - voila clean BHW again.

Can't stop him but if you do like I'm now habituated it'll be easy to see relevant threads

As others have said, it will be an automated process and not just targeting bhw but many forums.

You know the deal; they make 1m posts and maybe 1% stick.

I think we deal with them fairly quickly as well, but there will be some cross over periods where staff levels are lower - especially over the festive period.
