BHW London Meetup?

I was thinking Wednesday was busy so Friday's going to be manic!!

I'm thinking every ~3 months would be a good idea.

We should definitely do one before Christmas.

I'm thinking 14th December... how does that work for people? I know it's middle of the week, but my weekends are booked up for the next few months. Or to make it a big one for everyone, as I know a lot of people have "real" jobs, we could do it on a Friday?

I'm going to open another thread about it, so get your ideas in quick!

It would be better if it is a Friday :)

So what about the 16th of December ?

Whatever guys I will come no matter if it is Wednesday or Friday, I don't have a 9-5 keeping me busy so I don't really care :)

Looks like we might have to vote on it but I bet Leicester Square will be a nightmare on a Friday night unless someone tells me different!

Yes LS is manic on a Friday, it's a good place to go out but everywhere will be packed...

Meathead I am going to be flying from Bulgaria to attend this so I hope it will turn out to be worth it :)

Don't worry if your working the next day, we won't be drinking much anyway - references: post #272 :)

Hey guys,

I was just thinking to myself that it's about time I got out and started doing a bit more offline networking so was browsing around on Meetup.com for something near me, and most of it looks like a crappy pitch-fest with wannabe "SEO" firms trying to sell over-priced services to noobs.

Cheers :)

I have been to one. You are right. It is mostly Bad SEO companies pitching bad whitehat.

If you want people from the whole Europe to attend you should create some plan.
So far organization is on kindergarten level, and you cant expect many people to attend with such a short notice like "in 1 week BHW meeting in UK"....
Act faster guys.

I've given over a month's notice for the next one. Is that not long enough?

The first one took a while to organise as this has never been tried before so we didn't know who would turn up. As it turned out well, we'll do it more regularly with more notice.

I'm not sure about the rest of you, but I think 1 month is more than enough notice?
