BHW is the new warrior forum

It never fails to amaze me at how people join a forum (for free no less) expecting to have all of their needs met by strangers for absolutely no reason with no effort made. I've been a member here for close to 3 years and I have made some great friends, developed my network, found quality contractors for various needs as they have came along and I truly value it all.
I came here with a specific need in 2013 and I was willing to pay someone very well for helping me to achieve my goal. I didn't have ONE member here beat my door down in hopes of A) Helping me or B) Get paid well for doing so.

Common denominators always seem to be found in these types of situations and its centered around the effort YOU demonstrate and the purpose in whatever drives you.
I was a noob, no rep, no IM resume to boast, and no reason to think I was any different or deserved anything more than the thousands of other members here just like me.
Regardless of my success in my own career, that didn't mean shit to anyone here. Did I cry? No! I simply took time to search for those I felt could help and when I found them I made effort to approach them in an effective manner Well..I found someone that was capable of assisting me perfect what I was doing at an agreed fee.

End result..my single largest payout ever ($40,000 for a single job)and a damn good reason to smile every time I think of the WF "expert" that scoffed at me even after I paid him $50 for 15 minutes just to hear me out.
Is WF all bad? No, but this is NOT and will never be that place. It's exactly what you make of it, and in my opinion there's no better place.

i've never been a member of warriorforum but bhw seems ok. i see some decent knowledge kicked here and there. more-so here than in a couple of the skype groups i'm in which are pretty much dead

I don't know if I could compare BHW to WF these days, but there is no denying the changes that have happened since I started this forum. I understand a lot of the changes, we ditched talking about Ewhoring not just because it's a lame way to make money, but also a lot of trouble arose from it (googling looking for it .. can't find it ...) when some kid in NY was ewhoring some dude and bragging about it on BHW. That started some crazy fallout.

We used to discuss spamming and getting over on Craigslist ... that's out because of trouble it brought BHW. We even talked about adsense click fraud and how to get away with it, with only a few posts about how you can get your account banned. These days if you talk about Adsense click fraud you may as well stick your head up your ass because you'll get chewed out by by a lot of guys using it for trtaffic. Which I 100% understand with and agree with, just making an example of changes here.

Have you guys ever checked Archive.org and looked BHW back before 2010?? It was ... to put it mildly a true "Black Hat" Forum, because in my opinion we had more shady ways of Internet marketing and were widely acceptable.

Changes happen, sometimes for the good, and a lot of times for the bad. To be honest, while I can still find some good gems of info here, it's not as fun(?) to read the posts.

At any rate, BHW will always be my home forum, no matter what the changes.

EDIT HERE: I think OP is making the comparisons because of the changes that happened? I probably should have led off with this ..

I still like this forum, but there is just a flood of newbies coming and joining everyday. A lot of started and abandoned journeys and rehashed material, so the GOOD stuff gets washed away. I agree though, if you want change, then take action. Start posting good methods, and be helpful to the community. On that note, is there any other places you guys hang out other than BHW? WF is crap. TBN, DP, and HF are a joke. BHW is best I've found so far.

If you copy down the links to threads here: http://www.wickedfire.com/enlightened-members/

Then find archived versions of the threads, you will find some gold. I built my six-figure-per-year business from tips and methods in several of those threads.

The things is there are too many post related to IM how to make money online. When newbs search on google bhw is ranking well than old days. So as long as IM is there new folks will see bhw and bombard with newbs service and demand.

Must say, you need to get used to the site a bit as it can be really confusing for the newbies.

Eh if anyone was throwing a "hissyfit" it was the OP by opening this thread, the way he presented it, how he continued to handle it and call everyone that disagreed a "troll" left him wide open to reactions like mine and others. I was was expressing my feelings and opinions based on all that I seen, as a regular contributor and someone that loves this forum I didn't like some of the comments here and by the looks of it neither do many others that agreed with my "hissyfit"

You raise some good points and pretty much in line with what I said. Be the change you want to see sums it up really.

But do you see what happened there? I used a similarly provocative term in one line, and you did what the OP did - you put your shields up, defended yourself and position for at least 70% of the post with little on topic exploration - just like OP's replies. People go into defence to correct what their position actually is, or to insist that they're not such a poor person as they were being described as, all the while the actual topic is steadily sailing off into the background. Character slights are the fastest way to derail a convo and when that happens, it QUICKLY turns into mudslinging, just as it has - Then where does the constructiveness go? Down the toilet. I intentionally used the term 'hissyfit' for demonstration purposes to mirror the terms 'bitch', 'grow up', 'whinging', etc,...How was his response going to end up any other way? Had I used a benign term like "upset" then your reply to me would have been different to the one you gave. Frame control means our chosen words create a certain outcome.

I just re-read the OP again and honestly it didn't sound all that hissypissy to me, it was quite a calm complaint. Complaining is a sign of caring. No way did he call people trolls simply for disagreeing with him. Given the talents bilbo apparently has, he def doesn't need our spoonfeeding and he could have been brought back into the fold, but I think he's been truly shooed off now.

If they're not saying "screw bhw i hope it crumbles like myspace", then if an OP complains about forum quality but didn't include any suggestions with it, maybe their post just needed a nudge in the right direction? An encouragement to enter a discussion of ideas? Harnessing the energy of a complaint towards an optimum direction results in a superior outcome. Frame control. If you do love this forum (I believe you) then encouraging critics to expand is sometimes more beneficial than denouncing them.

Anyway I wasn't singling you out, I could just as easily hit that reply button to someone else, I just ended up clicking on yours. Maybe because I know you're the most prolific contributor of them all, so I went straight to the top of the hill. And I am actually sorry for leveraging the term "hissyfit", I was just making a point with it.

Best.

Whatrat,

Why do you always seem to join threads with the intent of causing conflict instead of actually contributing to the discussion?

90% of that last post is just crap. I feel a bit dumber for reading it.

What's your problem?

I agree with you OP BHW is new WF, now what next? Lets make a WSO here ;)

The true issue is the people.
The members nowadays are much more casual and possess no authentic interest in IM.

Threads with moronic questions that has been answered countless times prior to being asked are filling the forum and concealing the well researched and intelligent questions.

Then again, it's a perfectly natural tendency of the internet and unfortunately the phenomenon occurs everywhere.
I've experienced it on plenty of underground forums already: hackforums, bombshock, rorta, zoklet, totse and the list goes on.

I hate newcomers.
