BHW is going down - Please save it

Bhw may have lower traffic than any other website but the quality of the services, staff and informations are unmatched. The online members count might be misleading because it's not a realtime data, some websites use 24h cache for online counters.
Are you sure about services?
I'm here in the last 6 years, buying from bhw in the last 3 years. I can assure you that the quality of the services now and two years ago is drastic.

You might be right but I don't know any other website offering blackhat services and keeping the quality high.

The guy replied to more than 10 HAF threads in the past hour, all of them related to a different topic. This isn't going to end well.
He can be multi talented. :)

BHW will always be the best IM forum, those list of best SEO forums just full of crap compared to BHW

just sad sometimes we lose those active members, and don't know what's the reason why they got banned, sometimes it's just a bad day for them

im talking for those guy who got banned because of inappropriate behavior, for those scammers no doubt, they deserve a permanent ban even if they have a good history before.

My observation is that there are more Jr.VIPs now then ever before. BHW is an awesome forum for internet marketing, with very good resources to keep learning. Quality is more important than quantity. Rules are rules, and there is no exception to this just because some member is an old member in the forum. Internet marketing is now evolving more than ever and there will always be people searching for resources.
As for me, I am not worried about how many people are online, etc, I just make good positive use of this forum to learn what I can, share what I can, etc and making my best attempt always to adhere to rules.
BHW has been an awesome resource and it is a unique forum in terms of the management and I appreciate it.

I see lots of threads with no or 1 or 2 replies now
You need to be more specific. Where are you seeing "lots of threads" with 0-2 replies now?

This has always been an issue in certain subforums. I've even seen some basic questions go unanswered in popular subforums because the thread was misplaced. As soon as it was moved to the correct section, people responded.
Quality of the posts have reduced since lots of forum contributors and active members got banned.
Quality is subjective.

As for forum contributors and active members getting banned, it would've been helpful if you named some examples.

I will say that members who get banned from here are given numerous chances to stop breaking the rules, more so than on platforms like Reddit (or rather, many of their subreddits). These people get 10+ infractions for the same thing, multiple temporary bans, then when they get permanently banned and contact support begging for another chance, we still try to give them one last chance in many cases. Yet they decide to come back and break the rules. I've taught grade school children who needed fewer warnings not to do something. At the end of the day, we're not flippantly banning these guys, they're the ones taking the piss.

I am sure Mods, admins and owner must have noticed this drastic change. If not, this is why I have opened this thread to highlight the facts and what to do to rectify the situation. It's a shame that a site like BHW have less than 1000 members online at any given time. This can easily be over 3000 if simple changes are implemented.
I view the statistics regularly. The traffic and posts on the forum increased when COVID started, and right now, the traffic is closer to what it was before the pandemic. Bear in mind, we also have many nice members from both Russia and Ukraine who may not be as active right now for obvious reasons.
Force guest members to register: As you can see in the above screenshot, there are over 2200 people surfing BHW without being registered. This number was over 3700 when I checked last time. Guest members are not contributing in any way. By forcing them to register when they want to see any thread, the number of members will go up drastically as well as the activity of the forum. I saw another forum forcing registration and guess what? They have over 4000 members online at any given time and less than 1000 are guest- Just the opposite of BHW.
Whilst it's something that can be looked into, what works for one forum will not always work for another forum. Additionally, a lot of people who browse the marketplace are lurkers. I remember when I had my marketplace thread, I used to get sales from non-members a lot.

STOP banning members PERMANENTLY. I know some members are banned temporarily but most of them are permanent. Apart from severe breakage of rules like Scamming or mods abuse, all members should be temporarily banned, depending on the severity of the issue. For example, if someone is spamming, after they reach 10 points, they can be banned for 1 month. Same can be done for inappropriate behaviour.
I answered this one above when I went over the numerous chances members are given. Summarised, even permanently banned members are allowed back so long as they did not scam or engage in abusive behaviour toward staff or members. Even prisoners get out eventually.

As lots of forum contributors got banned in recent months, both ACTIVITY & QUALITY of posts have gone down significantly.
Correlation doesn't equal causation.

I am afraid if this carries on for a few more months, BHW might not become a PASSIVE forum - just like another popular forum which was very active few years ago but now, no one even visit that site.

Things can change quite quickly if drastic measures are not taken.

I sincerely hope that some concrete action will be taken soon.

Thanks for reading.
I've been hearing "BHW is dying" since I joined the forum in 2013. I do agree with you that things should be done to increase engagement, but that's always the case with the forum.
He even asked for a discount from me and didn't reply at all. I hope he's trying to resell and not scam.
I'll look at his account later. He might be inflating his post count by requesting samples and discounts.
