BHW IM Authority Site Idea ?

I think it is safe to say a lot of people/us read the major SEO blogs for our SEO news... (SE Land, Moz, Watch, and maybe even hubspot).
What is one common theme among them all?

They have multiple authors / contributors.
This allows them to create, post and spread content easily through their network of people/authors. And of course, they look credible and like an authority in the space because they have all the latest news, insights, etc.

We all know content is hard to come by/create/ a pain (at least for me) and it would be difficult to try and cover everything in the Internet Marketing world all by ones-self.

I was thinking.... what if we make our own IM authority site with contributors/authors from BHW?

So, I love BHW, but how is it helping you build your name / create authority surrounding your brand?

Sure if you want to only focus on BST's, etc.... I am sure people make a living off of promoting stuff here, but I am talking about doing it on a "higher" level like SE Land, Moz, Watch, etc.

Why do you think that everyone is here to build a brand? Most are not. Everyone has their own uses for BHW. I recently have been using BHW to hire programmers and meet JV partners and creative entrepreneurs.

Why didn't you make a JV thread instead and say you want to start another SEO blog with someone?
