Hi,

Good day guys, my name is Jhay. I would like to ask for some help. My ISP is having some problems with hostgator, and I'm not able to upload files due to connection timeouts. I've contacted their support and told me the same thing.

I'm just humbly asking if anyone here would have the time to help me:

- upload the files for me

or

- help me upload the files (lend an unused VPS or something)

It's been a week and I can't update my clients' website and it's been a frustrating week for me (taking the calls, pressured).

I would be forever grateful to that person and I will make sure I can pay the goodness back in the future.

I use to have the same problem, when uploading straight from the site. simple answer have you tried using filezilla because that worked for me when this happened.

Yes, I've tried everything possible. cPanel file manager, and standalone FTP clients, I always got the connection timeout..

I tried tracert and I saw from 60ms my connection to my website jumped to 600ms. So the culprit is definitely my ISP

Yup! Just use Fliezilla for uploading files to you sites as Luke mentioned.I had your problems too but not when using Filezilla

well My Internet Connection is not Pretty Good but still if you want i can help you and money is no big deal for bh guys some things are done just to help other if we keep looking for money then i guess everyone will ask for something for every comment they post ..You can contact me anytime always there for helping hands

compress your files to a zip file (or multiple zip files)
use the cpanel file manager to upload them
there is an uncompress feature it helped me a lot in the future when FTP doesnt work

you can also get a free VPS from microsoft azure you need only a credit card to verify
if your country is not supported sign up using a proxy

Have you tried to enable or disable passive mode? Sometimes that alone does the trick.

you can use a private proxy
on chrome and your ftp client (i use flashfxp)
