Hey guys,

I dont know if this has ever been discussed or if this addons have ever been posted here?

But I cant stay on BHW for a long time. The yellow fonts on the black background hurts my eyes.

So I found a quick solution for the problem. I hope it will help you out.

For Chrome use this Addon

For Firefox use this Addon

I used the chrome addon and as a quick preview, you can make BHW look like this (just a quick setting, not the best colours I know).

For Chrome, after the installation, right click on the new installed addon button. Then click options and choose your wanted colours. Then close the window, reload the BHW page new (F5). Then do a left click on the addon symbol and choose "apply override on this domain".

Hope it will help some of you.

EDIT:

Usefull colours:

Background: F5F5FF
Text colour: 000000
Links colour: 22229C

Yea,I guess it's a lot better for the guys with CRT Monitors.
Don't forget to thank him ;)

i find the black background easier to look at than white, maybe I can use that plugin to make everything black :)

I thought I was the only one!

The colour scheme hurts my eyes too and makes my head feel really fuzzy. Not cool.

Thanks for the post!

My eyes thank you...hard to get used to the site looking like this now. ;-)

I was just going to find the solution for this thing...and then i saw your post :D ..Thanks

Oh god, thank you! I have always wanted to change the theme to white colour.
And that's why I prefer to read the forums using my phone (tapatalk).

White Sucks in front of Black.

Also, white background makes me fear BHW is down :D

too bright... that actually hurt my eyes :D
but its a great idea for those with the same problem!

The problem is the change from BHW to a bright site. If you read some tipps and then change to another (white) site, it takes a while. And then you go back to black :) and it begins again...

So, cool if that helped some of you :biggthump
