BHW home page not opening.

whenever I try to access home page it says:-

If you feel you have reached this page in error, please contact the web site owner:
[email protected]

It may be possible to restore access to this site by following these instructions for clearing your dns cache.

Is it only me or you also facing the same problem?

@dheer : I too face that page sometimes. But it is just for a minute or two.
 
I had this problem yesterday, was quite frustrating,cos I felt I as missing out on a lot.. but it was fixed in a couple of hours
 
I wonder why? Is someone DDoS-ing BHW ? If so why they don't get DDoS protected hosting?
 
It seems like this same problem is appearing for many different guys on different times. For me it started yesterday and it is not yet fixed.

If a mod or admin can clear this if something is going bad or updation on would be great.
 
I think we will have to live with it @dheer. BHW being such a huge entity, it is bound to face problems every few days. I have been struggling with BHW access for almost a month, but still it has been a lot accessible the last week. So improvements are made, there is no doubt about that.

BHW Is constantly under a DDOS attack, we are working on mitigating the attack, while reducing the effect on legitimate users. The first time you load bhw it will be "slow" while it determines if you are real traffic or a botnet, subsequent loads should be much faster. If you don't load for awhile, and then load a page, then it will be "slow"

There are times when the DDOS attacks really pick up couples with the forums already high traffic it "overloads" the actual pipe, we have new hardware en route that we will be installing over the next 2 weeks to solve this problem, and essentially reduce the delay for first loads to 0.

In the meantime if you notice BHW is really slow, it WOULD help if you sent me a PM with your tracert results to blackhatworld.com, to get these results open command promopt (Start >> Run >> "cmd" (no quotes))
Then in the command prompt window type this in

"tracert blackhatworld.com" (no quotes)

Then send me a PM with the full output of the tracert

You guys are quick on things, doing a major overhaul to the BHW setup now adding a new frontend webserver that should eliminate all speed problems people have been complaining about

I kept getting directed to some "make money with facebook" product
 
For me, at the moment, if I change pages, it says I'm not logged in. If I try to log in, it says I've used my quota of log-in attempts, and tells me to wait 15 minutes. So, I just back back-click, and I'm logged in and everything works.

Strange stuff...
 
No, it is still doing it.

This time, though, I couldn't back-click and get back in. I kept trying to log in, and after about 10 attempts, it finally let me back in.
