BHW Helped me learn to MONETIZE EVERYTHING

I was already a hustlin'-ass greedy type of guy. No doubt about it. But since I started learning and reading on BHW, I have found myself thinking about everything with dollar signs in my eyes. It's awesome.

I started out here a couple months ago, looking to learn some SEO tricks to get my adsense account rocking. I got distracted and learned about affiliate accounts, and went off on a wild tangent and never looked back.

Since then I have adopted this strange way of thinking, it's incredible really, but i keep on finding new ways to make money around every turn. I have had so many different sources of income this month it's not even funny.

Here's a basic rundown (going in order of most money to least):

1) Got rear ended on the freeway (normally I would have toughed it out and moved on...this time I monetized) collission claim netted me $1,400 MORE than what I bought my old car for. Personal injury claim pending...but my attorney is estimating a mid-5-figure settlement based on previous cases.

2) Went to work mon-fri, netted $3,400 after taxes

3) Posted on CL a couple of times a week, doing "I'm sorry" email responses with CPA offers, netted approximately $820

4) Sold the car to a salvage yard that was totaled in the accident (yeah they let me keep it) $500 cash

5) One customer that I built a basic template website that pays me every month to 'maintain it' = $60

6) Wrote a few ads for associated content and helium, messing around with voice recognition software on vista - $47

7) Google adsense (this is what I was here for in the first place) $23

Just goes to show you that your biggest reward may not come in the form of the obvious "heres how to make $1000 overnight" thread. I have gained the most from this forum by adapting to a new mindset of "make money off of anything I can, every turn life takes me in". I also am looking at multiple streams of income, working with multiple cpa companies, and just spreading it around more and more so that if any one source of income goes away, I'm still in good shape.

Thanks to all you contributors and sharers here on BHW that made my new IM career a reality, and for giving me the boost I needed to get going and make some $$$.

Very true, there is alot to take in here at BHW. This should be voted as the IMers #1 resource! It too has helped me in several ways...

It is always good to hear a story where top results are achieved

But in your case it seems that one of your top priorities has been to put in the time and effort

I second that, the hardest part is taking the first step. And once you taken the first step (and have a BH mindset), you can actually achieve many things in life

So true. I think that this is maybe 20% knowing a good angle, and 80% mental/getting off your ass and doing something.

I'd say that the proportions are: 20% - angle, lazy ass - 60% and fear - 20% Lots of people are just afraid or find it hard to believe that it is possible to make money from something like autoblogs or e-whoring

yep. Or also could be afraid about entering a new business, getting accounts banned, etc. I actually look forward to that stuff. Because when I get an account banned, yes, I will lose some money, but I will also have learned something. Now keep in mind that I do whatever I can to stay neat and clean, but if I do get banned, that means I have found the limit of how hard I can push the envelope. There is really nothing to be afraid of. As long as your not doing cc fraud or hard core spamming, there is nothing to fear!

Personally injury suits are the bombastic. I got $80,000 after being T-boned in Nebraska. Chyeah. Best of luck to you BigHustlah.

Lol, got the same problem also. I am lazy as hell and I took the first step into IM to refer others to work for me (do the hard work), got some reward of it but the best thing is just to repeat the steps and when you can do it flawless you can scale it up.. like others say the first step is the hardest and after that it only gets bigger.

Seriously, when I started this I about hit the roof when I saw $15 in my affiliate account my first day. I thought I was such a champion for that. Then over the next two months, I tried different things, but couldn't really get past $1,000 per month, giving it my part-time effort.

At this point, things have gone from slow, to gradual, to freakin' full speed ahead. Its almost scary how when that moment comes and something 'clicks' and you discover a method that works, how it changes everything.

I am completely in not-looking-back mode, sky is the limit.

Great to hear about your success. I'm still new as hell and trying to figure out exactly where I'm at (in a manner of speaking) and what I can do. About to try good old Dragon Dictate on my Mac (not much on the Mac front here, is there?) and good old AC.

Congrats, and you're right -- it really does look like most of it is not being lazy. Compared to a day job, this will probably be cake.

Let me know how the AC / Dragon Dictate works out for you...IMO it was too much like 'work' and I got fed up because AC doesn't pay much per article, plus they kept rejecting my articles even though I was writing about in-demand topics (weight loss, finance, etc) so I went away from that.

It is. I love doing IM, especially if you compare it with my day job. The day job has zero opportunity for increased earnings, basically I make what I make, regardelss of how much work I do or how skilled I am. IM is exciting, allows me to use creativity and see financial rewards, and has been very lucrative. It almost feels like a complex video game that has real-world financial gain when you 'complete the level'.

Things have picked up considerably...as I delve further into BHW and try out new ideas, all sorts of new opportunities arise. It's become a matter of deciding (or not) to pursue a method/niche if it is profitable enough, and automate-able (is that a word??). But so far the growth, learning, and earnings have been exponential.
