BHW hard on the eyes

I love the wealth of information on this forum but unfortunately I can't read it for long because the white text on black background kills my eyes. Is it just me or does anyone else have this problem too?

It's actually good, but down at the BOTTOM LEFT, you will have an option to change the theme.
 
I hate the black as well. If you go to the bottom of any page to the left is a dropdown list if you select --Default Style I think you'll be able to read BHW a lot more easily.
 
We have discussed this publicly several times in the past, and the general consensus is that
the majority of our members like the black and gold theme best.

It goes well with our "blackhattedness". :)

I do like the look of the colors with the black, I agree it goes well with the "blackhattedness". Unfortunately my "eyefatiguedness" doesn't agree. Changing the theme looks like it will help a lot. Great tip, thanks!

Me too, I couldn't stand it at first but now I prefer it to any other theme.
 
I second that, black and gold looks sexy but its really pain to read lots of stuff :D :D. Try to change to the "default" theme, you can do that at very bottom left.

tis' true, i love the black and gold. if you would like to change the theme though, scroll alllllllllll the way to the bottom and you will see a dropdown box where you can select your them.
 
just be glad that they don't skin the forum in weirdo colors every other week like some webmaster forums :)
 
White text on black background. How computers all used to be :)

Much better for your eyes actually.
