BHW going down hill, or is it just me?

A couple of months back, when I first joined blackhatworld, it was PACKED with content, fresh methods popping up daily, from then a load of new members have joined from other forums such as Digital Point, no offence to those new here, but a load of total idiots who don't read the rules and make stupid topics have joined.

From then, I haven't really seen any new fresh methods/decent topics. I'm not one to leech your methods, I do share my fair-share back, well at least I try to, but I haven't seen a decent topic in a while now, just old topics being bumped back up.

Anyone else noticed this? :S

Its xmas though, so i cant say ill be writing any methods up when im supposed to be spending time with my family.

Its an open forum, anyone can join. Cant say its people from digitalpoint, its people from just all over the web. People want to learn IM. This forum has moved away a bit from the days of everyone just cookie stuffing EPN, into a more rounded IM forum. And that will attract the more average user, the person who is trying to make a few bucks out of adsense. Rather then ones trying to destroy craigslist.
 
its cause of all these fuckers who cant speak english "you teach me make money. i hear click once make lots."
 
also its all these damn "can this site make me money?" threads, or the "im a failure what can i change" threads
 
Yeah with the explosive growth of bhw the quality will go down its just how things work. And now basically with all the cl spies or whatever on here anyone with a working method for cl won't post it because it will stop working within weeks or days.

but if you are going to come to an english speaking forum to learn how to make money online learn the language a little bit more, and atleast plan your approach to the community in a way that will not piss everyone off

I think i speak for everyone when we look back on our posts from even just 1 year ago. We say to ourselves, "What the hell was i thinking, i was such a noob".

It's not so much the lack of proper english used by some members (though difficult to read at times) it's the people who constantly come online saying I need someone to help me make money. Or give me a method that is guaranteed to make me $x a day.

If any of you retards are reading this and you know who you are......look it up yourself because if something is making money for someone they're sure as hell aren't going to tell you what they're doing. There are hundreds of methods on this forum so use whatever you have between your ears and work it out for yourself.
 
dont forget guys, we're in the middle of holidays/family events/all that annoying crap, people are either working their ass off atm or dealing with shit they probably dont want to be or actually lucky bastards taking a well deserved holiday somewhere, so, patience, it'll bounce up again, always does :)
 
BHW going down hill, or is it just me?, Alex you made me laugh, not been in BHW for too long and losing faith already lol.

Most of the real stuff is going on behind the scenes, people have leached off BHW and sold the information on other forums so we tend to become a little guarded but stick with when we have weeded a few out l am sure that you'll see the real gold come out.
 
Or it could just be asshats like you that think the forum is going down hill?

Still plenty of information on here for us newbie's to get started.
 
i havent been a registered member for long but have long been reading this forum and hes kind of right, BUT, wiz is also right as well. I think that it just pushes us to think outside the box. Just hang in there. I plan on joining JrVip asap for this reason. If i could do it today then i would.

Well I notice this year BHW gained A LOT of new members, even alexa shown a large increase in traffic. I think the world recession have made more people interested in making money online, and also broke down some whitehats to go venture into the "darkside" to make some cash. A lot of shared methods at BHW died fast before, but now with the recent huge amount of traffic, the shared methods dies MUCH MORE quickly, which probably also explain the lack of quality shared methods as compared with the past year.
 
I am a newbie, and have found tons of great advice and content here.

At the same time, as with anything, I think you will find that with anything maturing, the truly novel ideas will be few and far between.

Like someone else already noted, there are only so many ways you can make money from ewhoring or adsense or CPA or whatever. At the same time, there are few seismic shifting sites like CL or Twitter or Google that have come online in the last year.

I think when you have one of those, then there will be a flurry of activity as people figure out how to monetize them. Still a lot of value for a newbie like me here.

That said, I started by devouring every thread I could find. Now I am more finnicky about what I will read and follow. As you get more knowledgeable, there is less marginal value to be had from each thread. A $10 per day thread can be extremely exciting to a total beginner, but a total waste of time for anyone experienced and already earning more. YMMV
 
I am a newbie and I normally lurk the BHW/WF/DP threads but I mut say BHW > any other IM forum on the web at the moment. If you go on DP or WF, there are TONS more people asking about "tell me your traffic source so I can make money". For you to get anything on WF, you will either have to buy a WSO or join and get the private membership. On the other hand, I log onto BHW and see new books being uploaded by members, new methods to getting money, etc.

I find myself checking BHW much more now compared to DP/WF.
