I want to buy a service from a forum member however he doesn't mod approved thread yet.
How to ensure not to be cheated. Does the forum provide Escrow service

There's no way to ensure if the seller gonna cheat or not.

But to remain on the safe side, just Paypal as a payment method.

And no, BHW doesn't provide escrow services for now.

They would bring this one is 2.0 BHW , for now use paypal only .

BHW does not provide escrow. But this escrow service would be better.

read the thread on how to buy from a mod here, i think its on the first subforums here, and if the memeber is a yellow member, not sure you can buy from such without a risk of loosing money

The forum doesn't provide Escrow yet. That'll be coming soon, however, if he doesn't have an approved thread don't buy from him, you can wait for mods to check his BST(if he even sent one in).

They don't as of now. But I wish they do in near future.

They have a well monitored marketplace section where people are making money so it makes complete sense to have their own payment services like Escrow in BHW.

Pay with PayPal not as friends & family. Or pay with Credit card if he has the option available for you. Usually sellers with CC availability are mainly reliable because they know you can just file chargeback and claim your money back if they scam you.

Currently, BHW does not have escrow services. But you can ask the seller to receive the payment from some other reputed escrow platform.
