What is all this "I need to run it by the wife" crap? I honestly don't get it.
You just need to help her make the connection between all her nice things, her nice house, and the nice holidays, and the conference in Vegas. Soon as she makes that connection, she'll be packing your bags for you...

When I first got married, I rented an office right away, because I knew if my wife saw me sitting around most of the day listening to music she'd think I was lazy, and that would change her attitude towards me. It wouldn't have mattered if I explained that I was 'in the zone' coming up with 'million dollar ideas', she would have just seen me doing nothing...
The reality is that creativity can't be forced - the harder you try, the less it happens. The only tool any of us really have is our brain - if we don't let it come up with great solutions, we end up having to use our hands to earn money, and that's probably the worst thing I can think of.
You just need to drink a lot, sleep a lot, spend time with a lot of women, and bingo - it all falls into place

Woo Hoo! Got plenty of time to plan...and, to get up to speed around here. Early bird discount is locked in. WE are excited about ASW right around the corner. Being a newbie, is very trying. But, I am learning by great strides. This has been an awesome experience and I have appreciated all the serious work that is getting done here in BHW. We are pleased with the response we have received and connections we have made so far. And, are looking forward to BHW 2014. We are ever-evolving and will be a real, respected member someday soon. I am going to try and make it, I do hope some of the young ones will be able to make it also.. Would be interesting talking to 15 and 16 year old marketers, especially a couple of the one who have been successful.
