We all know the fraud, deception, scammers,etc. Sometime mods are put in bad places with the he said she said.

Therefore I propose there be an agreement system when people do deals on BHW. Each person helps create this "contract" each user revisese it to his/her liking and both users must hit an "I accept" button so there is no question about what's what.

Then in cases of he said / she said. Or scams mod will be able to review the "Deals" Tab in BHW accounts read the agreement and determine who's at fault.

An example (made up names ignore if really here)

----Deal Tab---------------------------------------------------------
Users in deal(enter names using commas): John123,Carra456
----------------------------------------------------------------------

John 123: I agree to sell Carra456 a logo for her website for the set price of $50 payment is to be made half before half following.
Carra456: I carra456 agree to pay within 7 days the remaining amount to John123 in the amount of $25. I understand that my failure to pay within 7 days of receiving logo or my account will result in a permenant ban.

Deal Status:
Accepted by: ALL PARTIES {carra456,john123}

....... John reports carra456 after her failing to pay 9 days later.... One of BHW fine mods :) reviews deal tab. John shows mod proof of logo creation and attempt to send and contact carr456.

...Carra456 was banned.

Just my suggestions

Or, the user's can agree to create a thread at an actual freelance website for $5, such as getafreelancer.com...

Seriously guys, these things sound good in theory, and we definitely appreciate the time you put into the suggestions, but who has time to code such things?

it will be great and safety if bhw have a third party payment or such as bhw bank LR account paypal account
each transaction cut % depent the price

good idea. just more work for the mods. lol. but I think its perfect to avoid being scammed, something that adds to private messages may go like something "private deals/agreements besides the PM feature""

I like it. :D

@Essential Clix

To be completely honest I did not think of going to getafreelancer.com ... I've just seen so many threads about users being scammed it's blinding my eyes from the good content here at BHW if you follow me. And I really wanted to share my "what i thought was a great idea".

Your certainly right about the time to code... There are definitely some coders on here perhaps one of them will come forth.... Plus we want to keep people here at BHW not go other places right? We want a sense of trust within our own community. Or at least I would like to see that.

@ the_demon - Thanks for the suggestion & the input, they're always welcome.

In regards to the scam claims, I'm tired of them as well. That's why I created this thread. I've noticed a huge portion of the scam claims around here were premature or false altogether.

Truth be told, even if we implemented the above idea, and put our own payment processor into place, people would still stand the chance of getting scammed. It's just the way things are on the Internet, unfortunately. There's no sure-fire way to assure no scams, without some kind of full moderation & escrow service by a full staff -- and even that is flawed.

And don't even get me started on what kind of (unpaid) workload it would create on our staff, having to moderate a built-in payment/escrow service. Nice idea, but not very practical. I think that's why you dont see this on any other IM forums either.
