Hi Guys,
I've been seeing lots of newer people asking what some of the acronyms on the site mean lately. I found a list of Internet Marketing acronyms and have added some. If people chime in, I can update the list with some that I have missed.

AA - Auto Approve

BHW- Black Hat World (should know this :p)

Just being helpful- I learned a lot on this forum and when I first joined I didn't know shit. Gotta start somewhere right?

That's not the way forward, giving people an acronyms list won't really help them. A lot of the acronyms they'll forget because a list is just a list, a piece of data that doesn't really make sense to them. Why? Becuase they don't know what most of these things really are or what they do and therefore it is better for them to explore and learn on their own. It's not like these things are hard to find/learn. By the way, you've made a mistake, that's not a good way to teach newcomers.
 
its a jumping off point. Just updated the mistake, pulled some from a list.

AMR is used a lot.

Good list! I wish I had something like this when I first came across BHW :P
 
Thanks for starting the thread RightinTwo. I'm sure it'll help out lot of newbies on coming season. I'm a new member to BHW but not for BHSEO. lurking here for past 4 years and registered just a couple of days back. Heres a few more what i had on top of my mind.

What?? you are just criticizing a really good work!!

The list is a _BIG_ help for the newcomers! and can be the start point for the later research!!

of course nobody will can learn the full list at once. but the list can be a reference! when one find a unknown acronym, just go to the list and find the meaning,
if one find interesting... just _research_ about the subject!!

The list is not only good for the newcomers! I bet that even the Gurus sometimes faces an unknown acronym or just don't remember the meaning!

so, newcomers! bookmark the this thread right now! you will need come back to this list almost every day for some time!

The OP clearly stated that the list was "partially" pulled from a list. A quick Google search can give you the answers to most acronyms if needed.

+rep - Gaining/Giving Positive Reputation Points (Usually happens when a member posted/shared really usefull stuff/thread/tutorial/guide/giveaway/books/softwares that is not on BHW DNS list)
-rep - Losing/Giving Negative Reputation Points (Happens when a member posted stupid posts/didn't abide to bhw rules/simply not following forum rules/posts any racism content)
