    So I bought BlackHatCodeBreaker 2.0, and in the PDF it says that a new feature it has is "fake referrer".

    Now I don't understand what/how it is going to fake the referrer. I think it has something to do with the go1.php and go2.php files. But I thought faking the referrer had something to do with making it look like it came from a different website, like the WP redirecter plugin does.

    So if anyone who owns BHCP 2.0 can tell me how exactly the script fakes the referrer, that would be great.

    If there are go1.php and go2.php it seems like its just using a double meta refresh, which doesn't fake the referer but blank it. I never wasted my money on that though, so I can't say for sure...

    Yeah, and that's not really useful for me. Guess I'll stick with the WP plugin.

    HE DOES CLEARLY SAY IT FAKES THE REFERRER

    so again if anyone has any info on this, let me know. it just doesn't seem possible if it doesn't let you go through another website.

    yep

    Code:
    <?php
    echo "<meta http-equiv=\"refresh\" content=\"0;url=2nd.php\">";
    ?>
    Code:
    <?php

        $referer = $_SERVER['HTTP_REFERER'];

        if($referer == "")

        {

            echo "<meta http-equiv=\"refresh\" content=\"0;url=OFFERURL.php\">";

        }

    ?>
    this is the mentioned code which can be found in the forums, it just redirects your page to make the saved information on the link which was used to get to the cpa offer gone. means AM etc wouldn't know where someone went to click on your link

    Alright, that's what I assumed. Probably best to just stick to fake-referring with the WP plugin.

    Thanks Mondlicht!

    Quick question actually. What if I allowed it to meta-refresh, and then I sent it to my WP POST with the redirector plugin on it. What would happen?

    Meta refresh (or a double one) just blanks the referrer.. blanking the referrer and then going through the wp redirector just adds the referrer from the wp redirector... so you'd be first blanking it and then adding some other referrer.

    If you are using Brad's CPA Redirector, you will experience no major benefit using a double meta-refresh prior to sending your traffic through the redirector.

    So the only thing that really will happen if you send traffic through the DMR first is you will waste time, and you may experience some traffic bleeding. A small portion of your traffic may trail off so to speak.

    Just use Brad's redirector, or maybe it would be more productive if you expressed a little more clearly exactly what you hope to accomplish.

    Cheers from a BHCB faithful user.
