I have been playing with BHCB for a couple weeks and just realized that it doesn't block the entire page.... only the visible part of the page when the script loads.

When it loads in firefox you can still scroll down farther in the page and click on anything you want. With Chrome and Explorer it seems to lock the page so you can't scroll any farther but no luck with firefox.

Look at the demo page with explorer and firefox:

Haven't been able to figure out how to fix this so the WHOLE page locks down. Anybody have suggestions?

I looked at the demo page for wordpress guardian and it appears to lock the entire page.

BHCB doesn't work end off - you lose 90% of conversions - it doesn't geotarget etc - if you're just doing greyhat work then use the ************** gateway or the adscendmedia gateway - or buy the other content lockers available.

Wish I would have known prior to purchasing.

Do you have a recommendation?

What do you think of Wordpress Guardian?

Lol, it doesn't work and you lose 90% of conversions? :D Thanks for the laugh really. Just proves that a script is as good as its user. It can geotarget fine (http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/cpa/145685-method-blackhat-codebreaker-geoip-modification.html), it's just not an option that has been added to the main package, since a simple [US]/[UK] etc. at the end of each text link will be just fine for 90% of the users.. some people wouldn't even know how to make a MySQL DB and import queries, and if they did, they knew how to make it Geo IP/rotating links anyway. Just don't be so damn lazy. I believe the new BHCB version will auto scroll to top [also on FF, I haven't had any problems with mine], otherwise you can search G for 'auto scroll to top firefox', add the code, be happy, stop the whining, earn $$$.

It is a good script. But I have now decided to make money more securely, simply by choosing Incentive Networks with their personalized gateways.
It gives me much less concerns about whether or not I will be paid in the end of the month :D

Mine autoscrolls to the top. It even hides the scrollbar. It's just that you can use the down arrow and just page down through the page.

I have been searching for code to keep a firefox page from scrolling but am too much of a coding tard that I can't seem to make it happen.

Any suggestions?

You really think that people who are stupid enough to fill out an offer for content will be smart enough to use the down arrow to scroll down the page? :hmmmm2:

Learn your audience man. So yeah, you might lose 2% of your conversions. Move on, plenty more non-tech savvy (or just stupid) people to target.

Yeah I am sure your right. I get stuck on dumb stuff sometimes.

Is there an easy way to disable the page down functionality or not worth the time for implementation?

I came across wordpress guardian when trying to figure this out originally. It appears that they have successfully blocked the page from scrolling.... but again small things.

um theres an option that you can change in the lock.js file to allow scrolling you numbskulls

Yeah. The script works. It diables/hides the scroll bar. That works. It's just that you can still use the down arrow and scroll through and click on everything on the page.
