.BG domains with backlinks (DR 35)

Hi guys,

I managed to catch a pretty strong expired .bg domain yesterday and wanted your opinion on the value.

• DR: 35 (Ahrefs)
• Backlinks: Direct live links from government.bg, mon.bg (Ministry of Education), and uni-sofia.bg (University of Sofia).
• History: It was a government program for science/education. Clean history, no spam.

I know .bg is a local TLD, but with these kinds of hard-to-get government links, does this have value for SEO/PBNs?

I'm trying to figure out if I should build it out as an affiliate site or if it has raw resale value as is.
What do you think a domain with these specific links is worth?

You can do a affiliate site, sell links, resell it. You will face a few problems it's a country code extension. It will be hard to rank for affiliate programs outside of the country. 2nd, it will be hard to sell links. Domain redirect don't work as they you to. And lastly, if you try to use old content you may get a dmca complain.

Instead of just holding onto your domains, consider developing them and monetizing through ad space. Also worth noting, two-letter extensions like .ai, .me, .my, .io, and .co are all technically country code top-level domains (ccTLDs), even though many are widely used as generic extensions in the tech and startup space.
